Rewatching this video I realise that I should have said " the identity that grieves " rather than " the self that grieves " . I think you get what I mean though .

I really think you can help younger detransitioners. Believe in yourself. They need you. There's new channels: Ray Williams, Sarah Rachel. (might have to type "detransitioner" to find on youtube) It is actually helpful to me, as the ex-wife of a man who had all the sex trait modification surgeries, because he never apologized after deceiving me for years. He was immediately "affirmed" in 1 appointment in 1993! The psychology field has not served you well. You seem better to me though. I have a rose called Lark Ascending in my garden.

I love the transition of the caterpillar to the butterfly as a metaphor for a lot of big life changes. The caterpillar doesn’t just grow wings - it spends time in the dark as a messy goopy glob of cells that get rearranged and eventually transforms into a butterfly. Those original caterpillar cells started a process that now allows it to transform and take flight. Sending you best wishes.

Thank you , yes I love this metaphor too. I believe that the cells that remain from the caterpillar stage are the imaginal cells that then , amongst other things , become the wings of the butterfly. Beautiful.

Yeah I am going through this I have lots of trauma from continuous abuse and I am beginning to feel resentment anger and jealousy whereas I have for a long time been loving and forgiving towards these situations. It is so hard but I know that I will heal myself so I can be my true self and be happy and safe and experience love 💖❤️🥰 peace and light and love ✨️💖

I think we have to allow ourselves to feel what ever we feel before we can purge those emotions. It's healthy. For me, I tried to forgive too soon, there was still anger to be felt but because I had already told myself I had forgiven, I then felt a failure . We feel what we feel, let it be what it is and you'll settle into equilibrium , a stillness will come eventually but don't force it. Love Sam

I've strung a few thoughts together. They are incomplete. They are meant in love, but some conditions need a scalpel. Certain types of human philosophy assume that the nature of man has a kind of duality that in its core, assumes the presence of elements of divinity, long lost or hidden from ones conscious experience or understanding, requiring a journey of self acceptance and self discovery of one's authentic self and a personalised truth, essential to one's being. That which defines one's identity is not found in one's being, as a core, or essence that one possesses, essentially aligned to one's own truth, but rather - a person's identity is understood and discovered in relation to God's truth and God's being. God's truth is essential to God's nature and being - indivisible. Existentialism and it's derivative philosophical and pseudo spiritual tributaries elevate the fallen state of man by attributing to one's person, qualities and aspirations that belong only to God. God's truth is essential and indivisible from his being and his doing. Our truth, is non-existent, outside of His. We may have capacity to reflect on our experiences and draw conclusions, but without a restoration of relationship in union with God - we are in the dark. In terms of how we are created, we may realise some awareness of the reflection of God's image, but the mirror is broken, the metaphorical foot is not in the sock, it bears the shape of the foot, but is empty of life. there are no shards of toenail clippings, hair or severed pinkie toes - Our perception, potentiality, awareness and capacity are limited by the condition of our nature. We may experience a degree of self awareness, a level of autonomy, some relational capacity, some authority to act, a reasoning mind, a will, emotions, and a spirit, separated from union with the Spirit of God. However, It is a fallen state, a less than, experience or sense, of being - a separation has occurred. Humanistic philosophy, existential self referenced evaluations of one's value, being, potentiality, personal meaning and the journey towards it, is a departure from discovering what is actually true, in terms of God, and our relation to Him as creature, to creator, and does little to deal with the solution to the intrinsic divide that exists. Truth exists in reference to God's perception of his being, his potentiality, his meaning, his purpose. In our fallen, demoted and separated state, humanity, and every individual has no capacity to engage with God, beyond shadows. Humanistic Philosophy, and in part, existentialism feeds into a concern for the integration of mind, body and spirit as a journey of discovery towards the realisation of authenticity, self acceptance and self love. It considers this journey as a movement towards wholeness from which one can hope to mutually experience and witness, the other. God's truth concerns itself with restoration of our relationship to God, resulting in inner transformation through receiving his being, into union with our Spirit. This is wholeness - this is completion. The human nature without the indwelling presence of God, centres its potentiality, it's will, its capacities on self. Scripture calls it 'Flesh', which by nature - wars against the Spirit of God, and is hostile to God. The mind, body and spirit of the man without the indwelling union with the Spirit of God, is carnal, rebellious, self serving, prideful, desiring above all for recognition of its own nobility, its own meaning, its own experience, its own determinations, and its own core value, apart from God. It wants to bring something to the table that is acceptable, redeemable, that is essentially truthful, recognised, valuable, authentic, living or divine at its essence or core. God says, No! You are dead. You need life. This life is in me. Receive me, on my terms, my way. I have made a way. Get off the path that you are on, many walk on it. Turn, turn around. I am here. Yes, you are broken, I am your restoration. Yes, you are dead, receive my life, my love, my acceptance, my truth, receive my fathering, receive my honour, receive my capacity to redeem you, forgive you, release, restore you, receive my strength, my friendship, receive true sonship. Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest to your souls. Are you feeling it? Love, Guy.

YES , I feel it. Thanks Guy, this was the one comment you've shared that I didn't need to re read several times... YES YES YES.... I think in this video I was trying to articulate a shift in focus that comes with grieving and no longer being so attached to our own narrative. Then the story of " me " and my suffering seems so much less important . I think lots of us need to get to this point of release before we turn our attention to life in God. Thank you for this wonderful , heartfelt offering .
