Heavy D shows up, he performs the "In Living Color" theme song and jumps 6 times, and with the Fly Girls. I have been seeing this episode for almost soon to be 32 years when I lived in the Maryland/D.C. at that time (1990-1991).

I knew he did this song, but I've never seen this video before where he actually performs it there on the show (as opposed to the theme just being over the opening credits). Did this performance air on the show at some point? Also, this was my favorite theme song from this show. I remember being really disapointed when the changed it to the other theme that remained throughout the show until the last season. In terms of the song, the last season was somewhat of an improvement to the others prior since they used a remixed version of this theme for it. But this original version is still my favorite of them all.
