Hi thank you for posting on this subject I just married a man who is beginning his career as a truck driver. He is leaving this Sunday and will be gone from 3-4 weeks. I never thought I’d be ok with the lifestyle that comes with it and I’m desperately seeking insight on what to expect and what’s to come I have so many thoughts and anxieties that pass my mind but I love my husband and want this experience with him to be as enjoyable and the best that it could be. Please keep posting and sharing. You know so much about trucking and it’s inspiring me to learn more to better help my husband and our future.

I completely understand the feelings of anxiety about this industry- the time away is definitely the most intimidating part! I highly recommend sitting down with your husband and talking about the long-term plans of your time in this industry. When done right, this turns into a HIGHLY profitable business that can be managed entirely from home. You can add drivers, get your own authority, your own contracts, etc. You can also own your own truck and just be your own boss. The freedoms that come with it is why we were so interested in the industry and stuck with it until we saw the results we were looking for. My faith in God and participation in my local church definitely sustained me when he was gone for so long. Praying you guys get the all the joys this industry has to offer! I have another channel www.youtube.com/@LionLambMinistries/featured that goes into how our faith in God can change our lives for the good!!
