Red House is undoubtedly Jimi Hendrix's best-known blues song, and its solo has rightly gone down in music history.
Although Hendrix was fond of playing the song in several keys, I have arranged the song in A this time. A classic 12 bar blues round, ideal for practising the original guitar solo or just having a good jam. I know there was no organ in the original song, but I put it in at one point in the backing track to give you a better sense of where the chord progression is going. I hope you enjoy it and spend some pleasant minutes (hours? :)) jamming.
This weekend, I'll be preparing a very special B.B. King blues guitar lesson for you. Until then have fun, hit that A blues scale and see you soon.
