Hennessy Butter
1/2 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c unsalted butter, melted
1/4 c Hennessy + A little more
Cake
3 c AP flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c butter, softened
1/2 c butter-flavored shortening
3 c sugar
5 eggs, room temp
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp lemon extract
1/2 c whole milk
1/2 c buttermilk
1 can sliced pineapples rings (leaving 4 rings for crushed pineapples)
