David Suchet played a great part in this film, and his handsome looks are still there at the up to date Poirot, i love his films and programmes. i love him so much i wrote to him and asked him for a signed coloured photo and he obliged by posting one back to me.

1:30 ROFL Hebrew lettering on the jeep. Filmed in Israel with the help of the Israeli airforce but an amusing mistake...not that many would realise!

Even in the title of the video it is said "Hercule Poirot"... --.-- I beg you all. Stop calling him H. Poirot. He is David Suchet.

Apparently David Suchet inhabits his characters. Visible genius: his face is art. As soon as I saw M Poirot in these excerpts, I did not recognize him. Pourquoi? (Sorry. Agatha Christie habits die hard.) Why did I not recognize Hercule Poirot? Because I did not see him. I saw only Ministry of Defense Col. Akir Nakesh. I could almost feel my brain juggling the juxtaposition: Poirot. Nakesh. Poirot. Nakesh for the remainder of the video. This adjustment in half a second. Bravo!

You think at some point someone under this general pulled him aside and said "sir, we're really worried about your health, you are wound tighter than a fucking grenade fuse, you need to relax!!!"

Top Gun may be the better movie, but this for sure has the far funnier villains.

The movie is as cheesy as a cheddar warehouse! 16 year old kid steals a USAF F-16 that seemingly has the range of a B-52H and the weapon load of a B-1B! Painted in Israeli camouflage too! Convenient to say the least! Enjoyed it enough as a kid though.....
