I just got the Bauer on sale for 69.99. The long throw one. Vibration is too bad for me. Will be taking back and getting this one. So glad the vibration issue has been addressed. Forced rotation is a bonus. 120$? Flex better watch out!

100% the Bauer doesn't compare. I have one and it's on the shelf rotting away. This is a beasttttt. Bought 2 💪💪💪

Bought my Flex3401 in 2014, I use it at my shop and have about 250-300 hours on it, it's a beast, I want the HF model as a backup but let not put it on the same level as the Flex just yet.

But what are the damn settings? I bought one and it has speeds 1-6 but the manual doesn’t tell you what those numbers equate to as far as oscillations per minute

I own the Flex 3401 which I love, counterclockwise rotation which takes a little time to adjust to, is this HF model also counterclockwise?

Yes still counter clockwise

@Luxurykoatingapplications There has to be a good reason why the forced rotation polishers are counterclockwise. When I bought my Flex in 2014 I injured my right elbow due to the rotation but eventually became natural to me. If you remove the plastic gear it becomes a DA that rotates clockwise, I did it just to see how it worked then put the gear back in.

Made the mistake and bought it cause it was cheap, only worked on two cars and the motor seized ,,,I'm never making the mistake of buying cheap tools again
