Hi guys, we are currently in Hoi An and were looking for a place to go this morning. So we saw your video and decided to go to the bridge. Unfortunately it’s almost completely gone now, but thanks for the tip anyway, it was a nice ride over there 😁👍🏻 we like your videos by the way 👍🏻

I swear, I did not hear "Deckhouse Cafe" the first time, then I was reminded of that "New Zealand Deck Commercial". That aside, love the video, thanks for sharing this gem! Marking it on my map for my trip in March!

I have enjoyed watching your time in Hoi An ! I was last there in 2010 and see some familiar spots . I loved that beach .! But see some new additions . I am coming back to Hoi An in October and will check out some of the new places . Not sure how the weather will be but hey I am always great in a storm 😀 I am coming back to Hoi an in October so not long now . Was a tad worried about the storms

+Susan Lawton Hey Susan - Wow there will be a lot of change from 2010! It had been about 6 years since I (Dane) had visited and it's a lot busier now, but with the beach and rice paddy areas to discover its developed well. You're going to have a great time.

Really some great content here and I love how you immerse yourself and stay a while vs trying to get it all in in one day which is impossible to do , I just can't believe how underrated your channel is and you should have 10x the subs , really. Please keep up the great work. The travel style vlogging is what I come to YT for and I really love your videos. You have a new subscriber and I will share with my friends

+mack1time Thanks so much - that's an awesome comment! Yeah we like to move a little slower and immerse ourselves more, find out more about a place, have the time to get lost and have some sh!t go wrong but not feel like we 'wasted a day' because we're moving to the next country or city soon. In saying that, we're super excited for what's next - planning at the moment! Thanks for sharing with your friends etc as well, that's the stuff that will get us to the 10x subs 🤙🏼

Thanks so much, Haley, we love getting comments like this - so positive! We're just gonna keep doing our thing, uploading and enjoying our travels and hopefully the growth will come eventually. We use the Mavic Pro, it's probably the perfect balance of portable enough to travel but reasonable footage 🙌🏼

Random question guys. I saw you setup an Apple TV while in Vietnam, presumably to use Netflix. How was the range of shows due to Geo-location on Netflix? Did it have most of your shows you watched back home?
@DanegerAndStacey
6 жыл бұрын
Hey Ben - been over a year since we've been home, which is New Zealand, and we always had a pretty average Netflix selection anyway. All of the main TV shows are available in all of the SEA countries we've visited anyway, but you definitely get less of the niche stuff.

your apartment looks amazing and the area and beach looks a lot cleaner then thailand how do the costs compare to thailand
@DanegerAndStacey
7 жыл бұрын
+Gordon Annison Hey Gordon - We'd have to say Thailand has cheaper options in terms of food and groceries for the most part. But we're actually spending the same, possibly ~$100 less here, because our apartment is only $400 USD and we're cooking a lot more at home. We will do a video on cost of living in another month probably and maybe mention some differences between here and Thailand.
