This right here is Generation X. I bet all of these people in this video watch MTV and listen to mostly grunge music (Nirvana and others) and 90s hip hop (2Pac, Biggie, Bone-Thugs N Harmony, Wu-Tang Clan, Gang Starr, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and others).

Class of '91 here. My HS did have Computer Lab which I did use. Desktops from IBM & Apple were the norm. There was a phone modem there but nowhere near internet we take for granted today. Cassette Walkmans were the rage but had to be kept out of teacher's & principal's sight lest they be confiscated. He had 1/2 lockers at my school & mine was the 1st in Durham County to have a paved student parking lot with 300 spaces, $15 for an assigned tag for the year which I did use in my senior year. Mostly 80's music like Roxette, Duran Duran & Def Leopard. In the 90's was the new Marian Carey, High 5 & Boyz to Men to name a few. No internet or smart tech, home phones...some cordless some not, cassette answering machines at home. Also, MTV was actually still THAT in '91. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the 1st Gulf War was around that time, finished before my Graduation🎓. Gas Prices went from $1.05 to damn near $1.80 at the most😱. My 1st job was at McDonald's, the 1st of 3 later in the future. My paycheck every 2 weeks was no more than $135 net. Really, kids today have no clue how good they got it. Also, LGBT was unheard of & not a good thing to be at the time...😫. Thanks for the nostalgia🎓.

Love this so much! My high school years were from '96-00'. High school from all of the 90's is nostalgia. From the fashion to no cell phones or social media. Where we interacted with one another in person. 90's on the whole were a vibe. 🔥❤️

I was from 95-99, it was so different, the mall was a big thing, movies, carnivals, street fairs, beepers, nextel, expensive phone plans limited minutes and text, it was a joy, internet was just booming, clothing was extra huge, it was fun

Back when smart phones and social media wasn't a thing in the 90s during high school years like damn people look so happy in these videos. Even when smart phones and social media wasn't even a thing but damn it's a shame how smart phones and social media just have to affect people Even in high school! since modern high school students can be so damn toxic! from someone like me that has gotten in such really bad experience. Towards some modern high school students from getting in fights with some of them and even the times I got called the f slur and even the r slur By some toxic high school students and even the times I got yelled at by some modern high school students over my laugh since they didn't like my laugh. Which was coming to a point I ended up crying in tears since I couldn't handle the unfair yelling over those students not allowing me to have a laugh But damn this video is cool to see how high school students are in the 90s look.
