Sounds like a beast! Do you have any trouble generating enough rudder authority with that much power on takeoff?

Not as bad as you would think. Seems to take off really nice.

The only time you have a problem with rudder authority is with no power and slow airspeed. I’m a taildragger pilot/owner

@@flyjunkee And a small rudder, and a high AOA. I own a Glasair SII-TD 180hp. I has a small rudder.

So nice to see! Finally we are getting engines in planes for regular folks that come from companies that spend almost a billion dollars each year on R&D. Add a ballistic parachute and I really think we are getting the safest flying experience possible. @@stur6765 He changed the prop later for better cruise. But that's a reasonable cruise speed for a Highlander. It'll go faster, but what's the point?
