Jean Maxey played the kidnapper here, this role was totally unsuitable for her, On one level she is a kidnapper, on another level she is worried about the girl She lacked the courage to turn her husband into the Police now she pays the price of a long stretch in the big house .

Wow! Dan Mathews was one heck of a cop. He gives a detailed description of little Susie, yet the mother never described her hair color or what she was wearing. "Susie get back in the car! Do you hear me?" Dan, she's deaf! LOL!

Great episode and amazing police work by Matthews and the other officers. That woman sure picked a loser for a husband, but she probably saved the kid from being murdered, so maybe the judge will take that into consideration.

But could do a rolling stop and block the road at the sane time. Some nifty driving but I know also they would reuse that footage in other episodes.

The best part of these programs -- is that the good guys (cops) are ready and willing to shoot the bad guys! Sometimes even fatally.

Because, unlike real life, they had a script to go by and knew that the person they shot was the bad guy.

I vividly remember watching this particular program about the sweet little deaf-mute girl! I was probably about 8 years old then and I was scared for her! Dan was both frightened and angry, too, and I just knew everything would be all right when he came on the scene! I was also hopeful because the woman robber was kind to her!

I'm amazed that Dan was able to figure out what Susie looked like and was wearing from the little info the mother gave him. He must be clairvoyant. "Susie, do you hear me?" No, Dan, she doesn't. But she's a good actress, anyway.

+Michael Hollier That dispatcher, if still with us, is well over 80 years old today. haha Yes, she is hot, today. Hot from the Ben Gay,and blankets. haha I better not laugh, she may have been the women who did a sky dive for her 85th or 80or 90~something birthday that the news reported a while back. haha

Michael Hollier She was beautiful in her younger years. Probably still beautiful. I get a kick out of how some young guys drool never thinking how old the one they drool over is today.haha Now people like Elizabeth Taylor was beautiful till the end, and I saw the tabloids rip on Bridget Bardot aging bad. She is STILL beautiful. What do they expect, that she would still look as she did in her 20's? People are stupid today. I have looked up Bobby Sherman, David Soul, I loved them back in the 1960's, David Cassidy was another. I can still see them as they looked when they were younger, only with silver and some wrinkles,Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot are two more. Now I would go with a man their age if I could find one distingushed looking like them. Even they look older. Dummies out there. (sigh) haha Have a great Thursday m friend.

My page is open and I noticed,I now have 500 followers. haha They love to hear what this "ole" lady has to say. haha I love it. i have about as many on here too. I almost died laughing the other night when i though about it. Who knew it would take the internet to make me famous. haha

So they stick the kidnapper in the back seat and the victim in the front seat. Gotta love these olden day shows. I thought they were high drama back when I was a kid watching these H.P. shows. I thought that was how police operated. :)

Good Series. Nice seeing a female dispatcher and there actually quite a few in late 50s. By the 60s, almost all dispatchers were female. Radio cars were very important and dispatchers were obviously vital.
