Jitada/ Asian bass fish, is one of the popular fish in mumbai. very tasty and easily available too. can be eaten in gravy ,fry pakoras, grill and many more. Jitada fry in green masala is very easy and tasty recipe .
ingredients-
jitada fish/ asian bass- 5 pieces
turmeric powder- 2 tsp
salt as per taste
for green chutney-
grated coconut- 1 cup
coriender- 1 cup
green chillis- 4 to 5 big size
garlic cloves- 15
black pepper corn- 1 tsp
coriender seeds- 2 tsp
oil to fry
method-
grind all the ingredients of green masala with salt and water and make fine paste.
apply turmeric and salt to fish and marinate for 30 mins. then apply green paste and keep for marination for more 10 mins. then shallow fry on medium flame. fry for 10 mins, then flip and fry from other side and fry for more 10 mins. once done flip and switch off the flame. serve hot. can have with rice bhakri as well as starter.
