The best hair removal treatment that works Permanently is Electrolysis! its not the best feeling lol, but its worth it. Sugar plays a HUGE part in your hormones, PCOS and Insulin Resistance and its even harder if you have a Sugar addiction ( like myself) I'll be good with my diet for Months then go on these sugar binges :( its the Worst. Also Magnesium, Chromium, Zinc and Ovasitol are a Huge help and it does help with Cravings and Insulin Resistance.

Brilliant video. Thanks Agata! I do KETO, IF, for about 6 months; WHOLE FOODS for most of my adult life and hearing you say it may take another 6 months to see changes in hirsutism brings hope. You're info concurs with my research ie Adrenals involved in hirsutism, which is often connected to high cortisol levels and increased insulin resistance. I suspected high cortisol levels was a problem as a result of stress intermittently for decades. I may be dealing with Cushing syndrome and non alcoholic fatty liver. I have red cheeks/rosacea and thinning facial skin, hair and weak nails. love spearmint and I look forward to trying the spearmint tea! I also understand that Vit D, C, B1, Zinc and Potassium will help Cushing's. I carry weight around my trunk area, after 2 C sections, but it is one of the classic Cushing's syndrome. I want to lose weight which is one of the reasons I decided to do KETO and IF - to lower insulin and lose weight..but not as much weight loss as I hoped to lose. Any advice on losing weight other than what I'm doing and/or address fatty liver ?

My issue is acne from PCOS. I went on birth control because of how bad it got and then came off a year later for a number of reasons. The acne came back even worse, cystic and all over my body-chest, back, arms, legs, stomach. My face was soo painful it made me cry and become very self-conscious. I started using spearmint tea, benzoyl peroxide cleanser, other topicals and being consistent with multivitamins and omega 3 and the cysts went away. I am still breaking out but way less severe. I found out about myo-inositol and d-chiro inositol because I am looking for something safe during pregnancy when that time comes for the same reason of not wanting to wreak havoc again from having to stop use. I started that about 3 months now along with the spearmint. Haven't seen any observable signs of improvement, but as you said it takes time. I have acne scars all over imaginable to deal with on top of that. I have an exfoliation routine and hoping for the best. One day at a time 🙏

Havn't had a period in years, my pcos and hirsutism is worse and taken over my life to the point I don't want to leave the house anymore. hi guys i have tried a lot of things since the age of 13. Am 23 and i have discovered a lot of things about my body in this journey of weightloss and pcos treatment. First thing to know is that our bodies are different and hit-n-trial will help u to know what suits your body and what doesnt. For me, taking high protien, less carbs , very less sugar, spearmint tea once a day and dropping dairy worked. I drink soy milk and eat tofu. For exercise i would say strength training is the best. I get some cravings here and there and dont exercise when am busy, but during those days i calm myself down, dont panic over it and try keeping stress levels low. I also got 7 sessions of facial laser hair removal and the results are fantastic because of lifestyle changes. But, while losing weight u will notice hairfall , fatigue, dizziness, so take proper supplements along with changing your diet : Collagen, multivitamins, fishoil tablets.

I am considering asking my doc for spiro. I have had excessive hair especially facial hair for years. Before I knew I had pcos I got lots of laser treatments which helped some but I still have to shave my cheeks and chin daily. I want short hair but would feel more self conscious with potentially hairy cheeks or chin on days I forget to shave. Would anyone say this medication is right for me? I eat relatively healthy, I’ve tried keto and it is super hard. I am a healthy weight and for the most part a healthy person.
@AgataPawlak

I know keto is super hard but in my case this was the only thing that cured my acne. And it took 4 months to see the first results. Now 9 months in my skin color is starting to be even. And with hair growth it might be even longer. I would say that your decision depends on what you want in life. If you want to have kids in the future you will have to go off spironolactone and hormones will still be unbalanced so the problems will come back and high testosterone influences fertility. But if you don’t want kids anymore and you don’t want to struggle with diet and enjoy your life try the medication. Medicine is there for a reason we just need to realize pros and cons of taking each drug 🤗 let me know your thoughts!

If you have a chance find another doctor. 😅 my obgyn is probably my 5th one and she was the first that briefly mentioned “low glycemic diet” and wouldn’t talk more about it. So honestly if you want kids even if you are on birth control now start adapting your habits to proper nutrition low sugar, low glycemic etc (I speak about the process in other videos) and try natural supplements like berberine, and others that I have in androgen videos. There are doctors who are more educated nowadays but it is quite new knowledge so old school doctors just ignore it and go by their old books. Also you could find special “clinical dietitian” that could help you with that. Dm me on insta @agatapawlak.ig if you want to talk further 🤗
