I have a Hirth 3202 with 430 hours on it. Just got it back from Matt at RPE after a minor overhaul (recommended minor is 500 hours but i did mine early). It's running perfect and looking forward to another 400+ hours of flying! Matt is the best when it comes to tech support. He thoroughly answers every question I have ever had!

Which aircraft are you running that on? I am interested in an Aerolite 103 with this engine or the 3503 (if the 3503 in compatible).

National Park that depends on the type and weight of the aircraft, the weight of the payload (pilot), the altitude you would be flying from (Denver vs Iowa) etc. For example, Quicksilver Sprint with a Hirth f33 (28hp), Rotax 447 (40hp), or Hirth f23 (50 hp), etc will give you the ability to fly low and slow or climb like a rocket. You basically need to determine what you want and what you can afford, then find a retailer who will build one for you or sell you a kit and you build it yourself. And this doesn’t take into account the dozens of other ultralights available including the Powered Parachute world (PPC), the Paramotors (PPG), Rotorcraft, Light Sport Aircraft, and on, and on. Good luck if you’re thinking of joining the thousands of pilots flying microlight, ultralight or other types of aircraft. Look up FAR Part 103 to learn more about ultralights and the limits placed on them by the FAA.
