Pottstown is located outside of the city of Charlotte in the township of Huntersville, North Carolina. It was established in 1909 by formerly enslaved people. The community boasts numerous churches built immediately after the civil war and educational institutions such as Huntersville Colored Rosenwald school, and Torrence-Lytle school. Author Bee Jay Caldwell gives me a tour of the community.
