We met the Governor (Mr Albert Bryan Jr.), and the Lt. Governor (Mr. Tregenza Roach) of the United States Virgin Islands, and representing the Caribbean Indigenous Peoples here at the meeting were close allies - Chief Maekiaphan Phillips of the State recognized Guiania Taino tribe of the US Virgin Islands, Chief R. Mukaro Borrero of the Guiania Taino Tribe of Boriken (Puerto Rico), and myself representing my Eagle Clan Lokono-Arawaks of Barbados and Guyana. Our brother Chief Lorenzo Sanford of Dominica arrived a little late for the meeting but was present to make history again in the Caribbean - when we signed an unprecedented 4 Tribe joint inter-tribal treaty with each other today (12 November 2022) - on my 49th birthday. Our multiple film projects about Caribbean Indigenous heroes of yesteryear were mentioned also - to enthusiastic support.
Together our allied Indigenous NGOs - the Caribbean Amerindian Development Organization/CADO, and the United Confederation of Taino People/UCTP - are the largest, most dominant, most powerful, and most influential indigenous NGOs in the Caribbean, and the only Indigenous force that has Indigenous Tribal members in the greatest number of countries in AND bordering - the Caribbean Sea.
