As much as i can’t stand police that don’t honor their oath, police in the majority parts of the world are far worse even in places like the UK. They are arresting people for speech and openly admitted they have 2 tier policing so much so that the government in the UK threatened to indictment to people in America just reporting on it, which doesn’t hold any real standing in any agreement between the two countries and is a joke. So in one case we have some American cops full of pride and ego that screw things and people up and in the UK we have government tools that will arrest you for having a slur from a song on your dead friends memorial post about there favorite song. I’m not saying this because I’m just accepting how bad it is because I’m not, I’m saying this because people don’t realize how bad it CAN get. And God knows we don’t need George Orwells book coming all the way true, in England it’s pretty bleak but here we still have hope, and they can too if they fight.

Out of all the horrendous things I have seen, the one that hits me the hardest, is when I saw a cop kick a cuffed up, non-violent kid in the face. When he went to kick him again, I stopped it. I was blown away by this. I never in a million years imagined someone wearing a badge could do that. I reported the incident and was immediately hated by many. When I was ordered by Internal Affairs to make a statement, I did so, of course. I provided a synopsis of the incident. In doing so, I reported the first kick, but I did not report the second kick attempt that I thwarted. By this time, I had received death threats and been mocked while walking down the halls of the Police Department. I showed up at roll call and every officer got up and walked out. My house was broken into, and a dead rat was left in a trashcan with the note, RATBOI written on it. He was only suspended for 6 months. This RATBOI name followed me to another agency in another state, 25 years later. I never stood up to these guys and said what I thought. I just acted like I didn’t notice. I mentioned the crap I was taking to my sergeant, and he said, “You fucked yourself”. I can't stand when cops abuse their authority. Keep reporting this corruption...

As horrendous as this was to see…. I’ve witnessed similar if not worse. Our family shop was at an intersection for the main biggest street in my city and another fairly busy street. As I’m crossing the lesser street, walking to a restaurant to get lunch, I’m almost hit by a speeding cop car (lights but no sirens). In the restaurant parking lot another cop car barely missed me (he even squealed the brakes) (no lights nor sirens). Now I’m thinking that either the bank, the restaurant, or the parts store is getting robbed (they share the mini mall & lot. But as I walk into the restaurant I notice 4 cop cars parked and a back table with 6 cops. The 6 start harassing the cop that just about smoked me in the lot. That’s when he says ‘ I wasn’t going to be last again, I’m not paying for lunch this time.’ ! So these idiot cops make a game of ‘last 1 to the restaurant pays’, totally endangering motorists, pedestrians, and even themselves with their reckless driving all because they don’t want to pay for lunch! (A couple of them even had stripes.)

My son on new years day 10 years ago parked on the west side of our property on a side street our house is a corner lot. He pulled in just into the easement. We were oot so he waited then decided to back onto the street in front of our house to leave when a county mountie came blasting over the hump in the road speeding over the rise in the road thats maybe 150-200 feet from our corner, heading east the dude smashed into the rear of my sons car. We just drove up as it happened...the deputy crawled out of the car my neighbor across the street saw the incident yelled that guys Drunk! The dude just stood there leaning against the car looking drunk. Theres a sub station west of the accident scene off of st rd 44 west. By the time we got from our car a county deputy arrived who took control of the scene. I spoke to him saying he was not following protcol to investigate an accident involving his own agency. He told me to back off not to say anything anymore or he would arrest me. Several of the neighbors approached him also from the street across from our house and he accosted them and said the same thing. We both we all said to him at a distance the Florida Highway Patrol should be investigating this accident he again issused threats to arrest all of us. Things were covered up...my son was ticketed for improper backing...WTF? These statue laws are ludicrous. Its like they make up something to write on the ticket. It was plain as day the deputy coming from the substation heading east was driving much to fsst speed limit 30 mph came over the rise and plowed into son's vehicle. He was sued $4800.00 for damages lost his license after not paying the bogus charge or amount charged for repair of cop car. Years later an off duty cop driving his POV struck our neighbors car late in the afternoon at dusk the same way...too fast for conditions, tried to run and only stopped cause the right front tyre was in shreds. A good 300 ft from impact scene. Everyone suspected he was stashing all the empty & open containers in the cab...we checked... cab was locked window tinted to dark to see clearly inside. This dude who was completely at fault later tried to sue the neighbor for truck repairs...the deputy who arrived at scene instead of FHP ticketed the neighbor for parking on his easement while locking his gate after backing out of driveway...that all occured under ben johnsons regime...dude retired then went to county council the corruption never ends!!!

I have been emergency services and fire fighting for 20 years in Middle Tennessee. Because of some actions that was caused by an PD officer in the south part of Middle Tennessee. The officer took the life of a college girl because he ran a red light going to a fight call. In 2006 due to the lobbying of a parent they enacted a law under her name. The law requires that every year that anyone in this state that operates any kind of emergency vehicle, size has no effect, that you must attend 2 hours of this training. There is a added driving course that meets the needs of the insurer. When you ambulances, fire trucks, and chiefs vehicles they are following the letter of that law. When they screw up they are held accountable. On the other side of the law, LEO’s are to attend the same training. I have yet to see them follow this law. If you were to go back and look at some statistics as to who is involved in more accidents you may find that the police are the number one organization involved in the most motor vehicle collisions. How you can call it an accident when the officer is driving like that is beyond me. I would think that FL has a statue that states that all personnel that operate emergency vehicles must attend annual training. Making them adhere to the law is a different thing. Rules for thee but not for me.

Only in the stupidest country on this planet is it OK for cops to run stop signs and red lights and drive 100MPH in residential zones. What's the statistic in the USA for injuring or killing innocent people while responding to a call?. In Canada, police, fire and ambulance must stop at ALL red lights/stop signs, even with lights/sirens on. The law applies to ALL motorists at ALL times. Emergency responders have been charged for vehicular manslaughter when the hit and kill other drivers, if they run a light and cause a wreck. It's a matter of public safety in Canada. In the USA its all about the arrest or killing of the perp. Cops dont give a fuck about innocent bystanders!
