Love maria's Chanel and the content; but the frank caliendo/ John Madden "hot tub" comment was hillarious

I was just out for a groin tear… I forget the name of the muscle, but it stretches from internal hip up to my abs, 12 weeks off but I’m back on the ice now :) rocking your warmup b4 every game and it’s felt great

Just wondering if you have any advice for an older guy who wants to go back to playing. I am giving myself a five month window to train and get to the net, do you think this is enough time?. I will be following the advice you posted I. This video as well.

Yes, it is enough time to get ready if you put in the work to prepare your body for the demands of the position. I have a few videos here specifically for adult goalies (just search "Adult" or "Beer League", plus do the butterfly challenge. I like your approach.

I got injured because I didn't sharpen my skates for bit so when I wanted to push I lost an edge and strained my groin. And now I haven't been able to be on the ice for 4 weeks

Yes, that'll do it. Your body isn't ready for that rapid stretch when you blow a tire. So sorry that happened. I hope you are feeling better and better.

I'm always a fan of someone who can present more complex concepts in a common-sense and straight forward manner with real context. I'm working with my son, who is a U14 AA goalie, trying to get him useful information for goalies that I can't (as a former pitcher) cannot. Great information, Maria.

Thank you very much, that is very kind. I've trained a few pitchers in my day as well - enjoy the complexities of working with them too!

Sprained my left ankle in October, rehabbed it throughout and recently In a reverse VH glove side (regular) I’ve been having an escalation of pain on the outside of my ankle. Would a physical therapist be the best route or have a scan done to see if there’s a pinched nerve or something. Pain seems to be right in front of my ankle bone.

Yes, 100% go see a phyical therapist - but if possible see one with experience helping athletes.

Oh dear... if you needed pins and plates, that might just be one of those injuries that couldn't be prevented. Hope your rehab is progressing well.
