This is a mature system, the '4# series, and this could be the best one. One really interesting mechanic is how when units force a retreat by the enemy, they need not advance into the hex the defender vacates... they have tactical flexibility to take other, exploitative routes. Nice review, Matt. Very thorough and a good intro.

Great video as always Matt. Any chance of you doing your top 5 wargames, or best of 2020.

Such a great game, one of my first since getting into hex and counter proper. Played the short scenario 3 times and loved it more with each play. One point, you mention the yellow (railroad) bridges - they CAN be blown by the Germans. It's only the orange bridges and also the striped bridge at Grave (can't be blown on the first turn only). Nice video, great job as always Matt! Be up for playing this one on vassal maybe one day if ever up for it. (in UK time here too).

I have this on my shelf of shame - which is shamefully large! Do you have any of the other ‘4# games?
