Nice simple design ! I suffered a Traumatic brain injury in my early 40s that resulted in some paralysis On my body amoung other things in order to Accomplish many tasks i need to utilize a variety of clamps and vises to hold items while i work on them with my. Good hand I like your vise because of its simplicity to construct making it easy to assemble multiple units to have and use in my workshop for specific tasks i can make specialized jaws without a high cost or sacrificing a store bought unit i had been utilizing a wide variety of clamps and machinist vises. That are not always easily to adapt or modify As solid wood can be

good vise, good video! You defiantly should do such vise for your drill press. It is not safe to keep wood there like you did. Take care.

Hi Scott! I really like your vise and your fantastic videos of making it. You certainly enjoy woodworking, because I heard you whistling between working. It's not necessary to speak while stages, because your fine videos tell more than thousand words. (Some have longed for speaking). All the best to you and make more videos. Bless you!

Instead of buying screws with convetional slow thread get a hold of a screw type car jack and remove that screw from it. It is much stronger and much faster screw.

I started building this same one by following your video but you threw me completely off when you removed a piece of wood from the sliding section. Why did you remove it and why didn't you mention that as you made this video?

It's a cool project and all but I don't care at all for videos where the maker doesn't say a word. I wouldn't subscribe for that reason alone.

Hi Scott I personally didn't enjoy your video because you didn't say a thing. For me the love of wood working comes from listening to others and what they have to input changes it all for me. Otherwise I did like and enjoy your build video. Cheers David
