The tradition of brewing homemade brandy in my family was interrupted a long time ago.
My father stopped brewing brandy, and my brother and I never went to a distillery for homemade brandy.
Years ago, I couldn't lick brandy at all, I just didn't understand this drink. After a trip to Canada, when I brought my friends brandy, things changed. I had to travel thousands of kilometers to find out how good the combination of pink tomato (Canadian) and brandy (Bulgarian) is. 😊
I rarely drink brandy, but I'm super happy to pour myself a little brandy and accompany it with a salad.
The tradition of making homemade brandy in our country is alive and I am very happy that thanks to my friends from Karlovo I managed to touch it, even for a short time. I spent a day full of many smiles, delicious food and kind words. Our day!
