Hey glad youre back. Will you upgrade the hull you had with this frame, or build a new hull?
@ronaldhotboy

This is a different design, it's basically the same hull but just stretched a little longer about 40%

That is what I call art right there bro. A few mates and I have a new channel called New Zealand Anglers with only a few videos so far but hey you got to start somewhere. We have the timber, screws and glues to build us a Jon boat, but no were near as good as yours. Keep an eye out for the video of us building it

Friend, thanks for the video. It is helpfull and informative. But perhaps, isn't your frame too much complicated? Too many cuttings and fittings. Of course, making them fit each other propably makes a stronger frame. But I think you could get the same by consructing a frame just with what's-the-word, with wood bars. Um..., in life we look around without getting dizzy. But a video through a camera on one's head..., that's not a good idea. Or so it seemed to me.

you are very welcome; I love sharing my passion with you all. You are probably right about using less wood for the frame. Im ALWAYS looking for new ways to improve my builds. Thanks also for the video suggestion your opinion is VERY helpful. I will for sure make the necessary changes. Once again Thanks!

Hey man. I've been watching your videos on your boat builds for quite a while now. Sorry about the flooding, and the rotting of the boat. You plan on trying to refinish it? I was curious if you would be willing to share the plans for the framing of this boat? I'd like to try making something like this, but all electric. Your hull design would be perfect for what I want to build.

Thanks for watching Nate. I do plan on finishing the boat as soon as the house is completed which should be in a couple of months. Unfortunately the plans were left in the house that flooded. I might have an older file. I will let you know brother

Whats going on brother! Everything is coming along real nice. I wrecked my motorcycle wich put me out of work for a month so i wasnt able to do anything. With all that time off to think, i decided to modify the propulsion system......to a jet driven one! I havent done any work to the frame since the last video, but made a LOT of progress with the pump intake. Ive been fiberglassing and sanding it every other day for the past 3 weeks! I have the pump, midshaft, and steering cable purchased already. And i JUST purchased the first 2 sheathing sheets to begin that phase. I dindt think that you all would want to see a bunch of vids covering minor details, so i decided to get a good bit done before uploading. Thanks a lot brother for asking. PS if you want some pics, inbox me

I have an older 23 foot boat im redoing, but its to big for what i need. I love catfishing in the river. been planing a build for years. I have plenty of time just not confident i could do what you did, that takes skill.

Oh man... You can't use white wood glue on a boat! Must be waterproof, epoxy- or another type of waterproof glue.

oh yea. I didn't notice what glue it was the first time I watched this. regular wood glue is water soluble. it will literally wash away when it gets wet. Epoxy would be best. I've also seen people use gorilla glue.

Kudos for the Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Joolaim Rudder Replication (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive product for getting some amazing boat plans without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got astronomical success with it.

Todd Poulton you are correct as long as no water gets to it the glued seam or what ever your gluing will be fine
