Especially for those who didn’t think it was enough last time, I combined the remaining process into one video - it turned out almost a movie;)
It's time to sum up.
Time spent one and a half to two weeks. A lot of time is spent trying on and thinking through successive steps. Also, no matter how much there is equipment for machine tools, it is always not enough and you have to make a new one in the course of work. In this case, there will even be a separate video that appeared during the manufacturing process. The lathe was used by TV-7M, if someone does not know. Milling NGF 110, respectively, a slotting head was installed on it and often had to be changed from one to the other in the process.
Also in this case, the time includes the process of shooting and editing video. And this is nothing less than 120 GB of footage and almost a day of assembly. And another 15 hours of final saving (rendering).
An interesting moment turned out with a bar supposedly a quick cutter. In the video, I call it that, thinking that "some nonsense" is written on the packaging. However, on the bar itself, I only saw the inscription HSS, upon closer examination it was the manufacturer's logo. And the bar in the end turned out to be hard alloy - that's why it was cut off with difficulty. But judging by the sharpening, the material is not far from our BK8 or even softer.
