If you mount the box to the rear of the carry rack, you can then place camping gear (chair, tent, thin mat etc.) in front of the box which you may find better on your back and less chance of losing those items if a strap comes loose. Obviously not an issue if your 35lb top pack carries all of that and the box doesn't whack you in back occasionally. Happy trails 😀

Great video thanks. Love that rolling paper thing on the handle. I could get lost going from the bathroom to the bedroom, so I would get one of this in a heartbeat... if I had a printer that could make printouts to fit it. Box looks really good. All kit like that costs a bomb here in Japan. I wonder... have you ever ridden a 2015 (or later) Honda PCX? @@luvbgrass awesome news!! Congrats!!! Glad you finally got it! Yeah, I slid mine forward and it seems to be in a pretty good spot there and doesn't get in my way or bother me. Just got my 125 and the HF Apache case. How did you line up the 4 holes on the carrier rack with bottom of the Apache case? Any tricks? Thanks
@PSBEadventures
2 жыл бұрын
Awesome! So we used a cardboard template and used two of the factory threaded M6 bolt holes at the back. I found some flat stock that would fit between the two layers of the rack towards the front. Basically slide it in the groove and turn it sideways. I drilled a hole in the center of the flat stock, marked those on the cardboard as well, drilled the box, fastened it at the back with large fender washers inside the box. Did the same at the front but with nylock nuts on the bottom. Also a side note: HF sells some super resilient tool box drawer liner for cheap, I got a roll of that and put it between the box and rack.
