C’est beau la France, surtout quand tu explores les chemins de traverse. Cette SL me remémore mes premières sorties à moto, j’ai eu la même en 1975 !

Hi, The first bike I rode was a DT175 and I was 13 years old. That was back in 1977 and that's why I love these videos, they bring back happy memories. I am now on the look out for a nice DT175, 200 or 400. Or a Honda XL 250 or similar. I look forward to your next video. All the best, Adam

Love watching this video, Great Job Micou, thought you were going to go over the cliff, when demonstrating the front brake. Those SL Honda's are great bikes. Beautiful tour of France.

Great video, beautiful Honda SL ... always wanted the Honda SL 250 / 350 1 cylinder, never had one. Anyway, every blessing over the winter time!

Another great video and lovely little bike, thanks Micou. I always have so many questions for Micou after watching his videos. Like, just how many of these amazing 70's era bikes, does he own! I had the Honda XL125 that was produced just after the SL range. It was orange with black side-covers. Mine had the same stuttering sound in the lower revs that his has. It also had the low front mudguard like Micou's DT250. Looks like I'm from a similar era to some of the commentators here, having acquired my bike license in '77. I've taken over my son's worn-out '05 Yamaha XTZ125 (he prefers riding my F 800GS) and don't plan to ever sell it as it's one of the last few kick-start only/air-cooled, basic bikes around. On the subject of worn-out shocks, my son has wheelied this bike to death but we've never yet had to replace it's fork seals! I've been struggling to get this XTZ's front disk brake to work properly and like you mentioned, the lever feels quite similar to it's clutch lever but, as per the attached video link, I was amazed at how effective it is on gravel roads, as it JUST cannot lock-up, so its like the perfect off-road ABS! kzitem.info/news/bejne/0mOQtoKAj6SYa6g

C’est beau les Causses. Surtout quand tu peux faire une balade en SL. Merci d’avoir posté. Tu étais à combien sur l’autoroute ?

That gas tank ? Anybody knows why some models have it and some don't?

It is a rare case of a bike having a different fuel tank depending on the country. The USA had a less round tank and also a different silencer. Europe and japan had the round tank and the silencer following the rear right frame tube, like the one in my video.

Such beautiful country to ride in! My first bike back in 1977 was a 1975 CB125s (disc front brake!) so probably the same engine. Loved that bike!
