Do you have information or a video on weak shaky limbs ? For example, a squat position, or leaning over or just making a simple bicep muscle flex. This symptom is just not going away and as a 32 year old man makes me so weak mentally.

I'm glad you're doing so much better. You give us all hope. 🎉 also covid helped me find Miguel 🎉 Doctors say some of the stupidest things. Years of this for me.

Great video John. Happy to see youre doing well. I was a triathlon athlete before i got hit with CFS. Slowly recovering. Did you ever have issues with reaching lactic threshold quickly during your journey ? Cheers
@johnframe1117
11 ай бұрын
I'm really more into weightlifting than endurance stuff so I'm not sure. I did notice that when I was very deconditioned, i felt the lactic threshold way too soon even after climbing stairs out of the subway when taking public transit. But that is no longer an issue as I've been working out again.

I'm doing well - just keeping at it with consistency and over time your capacity increases and symptoms go away with your response. it's all about your response to the symptoms that will take the fear away and get your amygdala to calm the f#$@ down. I stopped taking zyrtec entirely which made things a little more intense, but that's the last piece to my recovery and know that i'll get to 100% in a matter of months.

It’s nice to have a testimony from a man who likes to do man stuff and is now able to get back to it. This condition makes one feel like a real p$$y , very emasculating. So when you see this it’s encouraging.

Thank you for all the information!! Brings hope hearing these wonderful stories!! would like to know if super high sensitivity in the ears is also because of the nerves system? I feel the constant electric feeling in body and head and ears. My ears tremble a lot by specific noise. I feel them trembling and popping. Hopefully you know something about it
@johnframe1117

It can be - I've heard many people talk about tinnitus. The nervous system can cause so many symptoms and they can rotate. But once you understand its just your nervous system needing to be regulated, establishing the sense of safety will help your pain learn to stop sending the symptoms (with consistency over time). Miguel's program really helped me a ton with the support and guidance, and I'd say the #1 book to read is Alan Gordon's book "The Way Out" for even more material. And Raelan Agle. From everything I've learned over the last 2.5 years, chronic pain and CFS (and long covid, chronic lyme) are all the same, they are driven by the brain stuck in fight or flight!

@@majahorvat7294 you mean like what strain of lyme? I honestly can't remember. I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you it caught my attention after seeing how many people go down the same path of thinking they found the answer as Lyme, getting put on antibiotics for months, and it not working. I'm not saying it won't work for you, but when I heard it from Raelan Agle I came to accept that this whole long covid thing is really a mind body syndrome.

Of course! It's a little cringey watching myself LOL but was in an adjustment period during this so need to give myself some grace. I'm not doing any cardio yet because I love weight lifting, but I know it will be in the weekly routine soon. I'm currently lifting 3x a week and am off the zyrtec entirely. it takes work but once you see the progress happen you believe you will get back to 100% over time

Yes, may doctor told me the same "well you are not that young anymore" im 33, the funniest part that the next week i told the same to her as a half joke and she denied it " no. you are still young" :DDD Even tho she admitted that she does not know what to do with me, i would love that doctors would admit this much more, and the help to search for solutions. Now most of doctors just pretend to know what they are doing.. :\

You're exactly right, those are adjustment periods. It sounds like you already have an idea that they're adjustment periods. The symptom flare-ups are completely normal and expected, so there's no reason to get frustrated if it's all part of the recalibration process of the nervous system. Just like how your muscles would get sore after a workout, you will feel symptoms during an adjustment period after increasing the stimulus placed on the body.
