Thanks for the video. Can you please provide links to the exact source of your arrowheads, shafts, inserts, nocks etc. ?

Hi there. 'Don't know where the links are, I'm afraid but if you mean the "solid" metal ones, just look on Ebay or Amazon and you should find them easily enough.

i was just looking at videos to try and find the diameter of these cobra r9 bolts , i've not shot my pistol crossbow in a few years , but i dug out the old bolts i made and had a few shots with it today , bolts for pistol crossbows are shite , but as i used to make my own archery arrows when i shot competetively , i made some , i also made some with nail points which were great for timber shooting , i'm about to make some more , but i was curious how thick these shafts are compared to the crap abs ones ..... my mybo target is also crap for pistol bolts ,so that's something else i'll need to make

Hi there. The cobra r9 bolts are 7.6mm in diameter so too fat to use in a pistol crossbow, unfortunately. 😒

@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 i thought they looked thick , i'll just use my usual arrows then , thanks for letting me know

If you can still get them, the "zombie" green bolts are probably the best ones - aluminium with a very sharp screw in tip.

@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 yeah they look the best of a bad bunch for sure , the ones i made are 7.5 inch but i think the pistol bows would be more accurate with 9 or 10 inch , so that's what i will make next , and the beauty of a longer bolt, also means you don't end up losing it inside a target like mine , although my target is not really meant for crossbows ... but a 6 inch power stroke don't mean it should be a 6 inch bolt , but thats what they seem to do for the pistols , carbon is lighter so it's dont hurt to go longer, i did wonder why you use glue for your points , if you damage a shaft, keeping the point becomes tougher , i only use the arrow building melts , they look beasty though , even though in the UK there is no real advantage to use them as the razor types break easily into anything other than soft flesh , i made some quality target ones , and the best ones i did that could be used on most surfaces, was a friggin nail point lol , go figure

Dear Sir i bought the Ek Addder and i ordered some broughtheads razorsharp the ones you show in your video,i screwed them on the original arrows the blue ones, only to find out that they dont fit into de magazine of the adder, and they also dont line up with the vanes so ill have to modify to,what glue did you use for the arrow tips??

Hi there. You'll have to take the "corners" off of the broadheads to make them fit the magazine. - I don't have this problem as I don't have a magazine on mine ( I've got the r9, not the adder). As far as the adhesive goes, any high strength impact adhesive should work. 'Hope this helps. 🙂

Only if you glue in the aluminium inserts which you can get from ebay and which are threaded.

Probably not, because of the "magazine ". I suppose you could remove it though and then they should be fine.
