So…tillering is done on the back, before sinew is glued on? Later on tillering the belly side?

Fine tillering is done during opening bow, it is proces after all sinew layer are dry.

@@ratamahatta1300 Its not called tiller, but yeah, offcourse wood have to be trimed down to required thicknes, there have to be tapers also. You cannot bend the bow much without sinew, tillering is proccess when you watch the bow how its bend.

Masterly! 💥👍 I think that in original Žagarlant artefact siyahs were also made by laminating 2 curved strips as you did and not by one single piece. Great video 👍

I Use two strips fr practical reason, it hold shape, it not bent back like single piece.
