It was all very serious. A few years later I was given a dog who was always disappearing and running away, so I named him Malcolm, lol he’s still with me and I’m reminded about Malcolm naden daily haha. I was a police officer in Dubbo at this time and the last thing I did before my transfer was searching for Latisha's body. Despite being stationed in Dubbo for nearly 7 years I didn't ever knowingly see Malcolm Naden and add to this he lived in a "troubled" part of Dubbo which meant we often attended and patrolled his neighborhood. This demonstrates his desire to remain hidden. For those who criticise police efforts to locate him don't know how isolated and rugged the area where he was finally captured. The officers involved (and the police dog) did a fantastic job.

Befriending farmers to gain work, before literally steeling from them. Some farms they burnt down sheds and machinery. Defrauded farmers and l they stole firearms (hid caches all over the state). Shot at police and were eventually found when they returned to a property they had previously been at. When caught, it was discovered they had murdered the farmer when they had initially left that property weeks prior.

those dingos he mentioned in the beginning have in fact attacked many tourists and long-time Australian residents at the beach. It is bad, but endangered wildlife that people allow their pets to decimate have it worse, now in that case it's actually worse than prison.

And that lady who received that note!! I can’t believe (I guess I can, but still…) that there were idiots simping for this crazy dangerous r@pist/killer!?! Even crazier is that some of these wackjob “activists” still hold this position even after suffering the loss of a loved one at the hands of another!!?! Ridiculous.

If you want to do another Australian case, you could cover the death of azaria chamberlain. That's where the "a dingo ate my baby" joke came from. The mother was accused of murder, but she was proven innocent years ago. Her traumatic loss of her daughter turned into a global joke, and it's still not well known that she was actually proven innocent a while ago.

There is a mistrust of police in Australia when it comes to dealing with suspects of indigenous descent and not entirely without good reason. Poorly informed folk might have seen him as a victim.

THey are considered the best trackers in the world.
