Adrian! Please investigate the crime of "El psicópata de Pozo al Monte" he was a serial killer in the north of Chile. It was a very shocking case during the late 1990s and the media was awful to the victims families and memory (mostly young girls) almost blaming them of being murdered.

Adrian, I've been inside the 'no man's land' in Cyprus. My sister is buried in a small graveyard in Farmagusta. In order to visit her grave, I had to have diplomatic immunity and be escorted by a UN soldier. The whole experience was surreal. It was like walking onto the movie set of a war film. Very eerie and sad. Your idea of visiting and reporting on crimes of places is a great idea. Thanks for such a great channel. You're a natural storyteller. @Long John Thilver Sorry, do you expect someone to generate content like this for free. If it's just ads turned on, he's not making much per vid. When he does sponsored personalized ad reads, he'd probably gets 5-10k for 5 reads in different videos, if they are 1 minute long (if he does sponsored reads). Still seems reasonable to me.

Since I know you very much like the kind of location featuring that Adrian does, you'll also love the channel "We'll, I Never" that features an on-screen narrator named Paul. He is an older man who goes to EVERY location that he talks about a crime that happened there. He is in Britain but goes all over Europe and other areas of the world as he features cases in those locations. It's quite interesting to see him stand right where these things happened. And that channel does cases that are from the 1800's all the way to recent. It's really quote good. So Adrian and that channel are my favorites. 😃

As a Romanian I'd like to thank you for the respect you have shown for the victims. And even though I've never met her, there are a lot of things that I can appreciate about Livia. She was brave enough to work in a foreign country, she was actively looking for a better life and most Romanians feel like they will be treated well elsewhere, so I believe she was making this change with that mindset. Also, the fact that she kept her child close to her speaks volumes about her character. A lot of Romanians feel like a transition to another country, with a different language and culture might be too much for child to process, so they leave their children at home. But she wanted to see her daughter grow up in better conditions than she did.This why this story is so tragic. I really hope that all the families that lost their dear ones in this case, will have the strength and peace they need in these moments. And thank you again, Adrian, for your thoughtful coverage!

@Long John Thilver the bravery is in actually doing something to better your life. Of course everyone wants a better life, but not everybody is actively doing something about it. Leaving everything behind and moving countries takes courage, especially when you have a small child. Not sure why you feel the need to bash on someone that tried to improve their life and exposed themselves to danger in order to do so. Your sarcasm is misplaced and frankly embarrassing.
@mightaswelljustdoit9679
Жыл бұрын
@Long John Thilver you consider moving countries for a better life for you and your family... Not worthy of praise? Also, I am not sure what the West has to do with anything, when clearly the original commenter is Romanian, commenting on the actions of a Romanian woman. I have the feeling I am not the moron here.
@mightaswelljustdoit9679
Жыл бұрын
@Long John Thilver bro, I am not from the West either, maybe that's why you don't understand where I am coming from. I am an immigrant as well and I know that it takes guts to do what she did especially when there is nobody waiting for you in the other country to help you. It took courage and grit, and while I don't expect praise for it because I did it for myself like Livia, I still think that hard work and sacrrifice should be acknowledged and praised, because it is something that not many people are willing to do, even for their faimilies. And doing stuff for your family is normal and should be expected, but is not common for people to go above and beyond. A lot of parents and family members are sub-par and do not even do the bare minimum. So when someone puts extra effort into bettering their situation, I think it's good to recognise that and encourage it, so other people might follow the example. And I am not sure why you feel so adamant of the fact that this person praised someone. Praising right behaviours will only enforce that behaviour and appreciation shouldn't only be given when you do something extraordinary. The commenter didn't say she deserves the Mother of the Year award, they just simply acknowledged her efforts especially because they know from where she was coming from.
@mightaswelljustdoit9679
Жыл бұрын
@Long John Thilver You just made a bunch of assumptions to fit your narrative. You don't know if she took a plane, usually people that emigrate for work have by default little money, which means that they use other means of transportation that takes days and is more unconfortable than a plane. Even though I don't know how this would lessen her efforts, but if you brought it up, fine. Also, your second point makes no sense, because her body was discovered only because of another investigation, meaning nobody in Cyprus actually gave a damn about her or her daughter. And on the part that men can take more adversities easier than women, in this case it is not true, because I didn't hear of any father stepping up and taking care of Livia or the daughter, so they wouldn't have to go to another country for a better life. From where I stand, you are the pussified Westerner that has never dealt with adversities in their life and thinks everybody can go by plane, or has it easy only because it's not 5 centuries ago. Otherwise you would recognise what this woman did.

This guy is a real monster. I love hearing stories for the first time, and this one is fresh on KZitem. I'd love to hear more stories on Cyprus. If you're keen to visit or do a deep dive, I'm all for it. A little pronounciation thing. A "Coup" is pronounced "Coo" as the P is silent.

Adrian, I appreciate your coverage of people who don’t have a voice in comparison to our widely known cases. While I wouldn’t call it giving them justice, because nothing (even justice) cant bring victims back, you give them so much care and importance so we can care about them too. Out of all my favorite channels, you are still my most favorite BECAUSE you take this seriously. I cannot handle any jokesters in this genre of “content” anymore. Thanks dude!

I knew about this case. I was in the first week of May 2019 in Cyprus for Holidays, and the older taxi driver told me that it had rained for months which was the first time he ever experienced, it was unusualy cold for this month and I couldn't go to swim in the sea because of the even colder water. Back home the news about the suitcase in the lake headed in the swiss newspapers and I learned about this serial killer.

This was so shocking for all of us, no one could believe something so heinous could happen here! When it comes to reporting on Cyprus, the war history and no man's land, now is really not a good time as there's a lot of tension between the two sides and things could potentially turn very dangerous. Glad to see you cover our little island though :)

Hi Adrian! I would thoroughly enjoy you reporting about Nicosia Airport! Imagine the airport, suitcases laying around, and airplanes abandoned on the runway, ready for take off... It would be extremely fascinating to visit a place that was so abruptly abandoned in the middle of everyday life, but since I have heard that "normal tourists" can only visit virtually, I won't be able to go. I really look forward to visiting it through you! Thanks!

First heard about it in a video titled “KZitem criminals iceberg” but the youtuber who made that video barely gave any detail on the case other than that he was the countries first serial killer and he had a KZitem channel which is now terminated. I really just don’t see any safety there. There’s all the risks I can imagine, scammers , rapists , killers, fake profiles , imposters etc.

Yes, as a US citizen who lived in places insulated from big city violence, there are nevertheless 5 murders that are fairly close to me --a first cousin's step daughter, a young colleague who I worked next to daily, a next door neighbors son, and a very close friends in-laws. None of these happened where I lived but I don't know if Americans are more apt to have been touched by murder. All of the perpetrators were youngish men... Two of these had to do with dating but I'm totally uncomfortable with dating sites. Even using sites like air bnb or trustedhousesitters, I at least make sure there are affirmative reviews. I even make sure taxi drivers are going to the destination by following along with gps and I carry pepper spray. I travel a whole bunch solo and take precautions.
@deniseelsworth7816

@@janefreeman995 I have read that proportionally we in the UK have a quarter of the killings the USA does. I know it's not always the case but I think having guns is a bad idea. If they are not there the moment of anger has time to pass. Also people don't kill as easily if they r going to have to fight the victim physically themselves.
@Wheres_my_Dragonator

@@deniseelsworth7816 Most of these sensationalized crimes are done without a gun though. If anything, the reason violence in the US are more apparent is because not everyone has guns to protect themselves. You generally don't hear of guntoting nuts getting attacked, most likely because they are seen as too much of a hassle to attack.

yes! I would love to see videos where you travel to the area of the crime!! I’d also love to watch something like that even if you didn’t travel. You could have a series where you do a second video on some cases with just the interesting stuff surrounding it (location, sociological factors, more in-depth coverage on the Geo political, etc) And if you travel that would be an added bonus, I think. Your subscribers love to hear you speak!!! Even though you cover these horrific crimes, you always set a calm and comforting tone to my day, and I’m sure the same goes for most of your subscribers! I know it must take a ton of work to produce these videos, and I know you have a super high standard and traveling to the location would only serve to raise your bar even higher! I did just want to pop in here, though, to let you know I’d absolutely watch videos that wouldn’t require travel and still be just about the location. I think anything you do would be a hit. I mostly listen to KZitem and have it one while I’m getting ready, doing chores, etc. So for fans like me, you could even do videos that were more podcast style that didn’t include much in the way of images and video clips, etc. This may not be helpful to you at all, but basically I’m saying I think we would love anything you choose to put out and, further than that, we would love to have more videos even if that meant some of them were quicker and easier for you to produce and were only you speaking. Thank you so much for always being so respectful to all parties in these cases and being so genuinely compassionate toward the victims. (Although I do love it when you get a little visibly angry at some of these horrible killers, lol) You are very fair and objective, and sensitive to your audience and your speaking voice is so…I don’t want to say hypnotic, but it’s very calm-inducing and I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the steadiness and rhythm of your speaking voice is almost meditative in a way. I follow and love tons of true crime KZitemrs, but I can definitely say you are the only one I’ve ever come across who can speak on these things that are awful and still bring a sense of calm and reassurance. You are the perfect backdrop to the telling of these stories where I come away feeling like all is still well with the world instead of stressed out and worried. (Ya watch enough true crime, it can get to you, lol) This is extremely verbose, but I realized that when I tell my friends (who watch similar content to me) about you, I try to encapsulate the sense and tone of your videos, but Ive never commented to you about how much I appreciate and love those aspects of your videos!!!! Keep up the amazing work!! 👍👍👍👍
