I'm a huge sneaker guy and I did it with a pair of shoes John Mayer had in the new light video. I think I did as a kid for George of the jungle. Definitely got into classic vans after finally seeing Jeff Spicoli in slip ons as a young adult after high school. Back to the future also made me love Nike all my life and want those shoes and was the first shoe I really wanted. As an older guy Asap rocky in Jeremy Scott bones also made me want em. Books as well. I use my influences to change my looks up day to day. TRUTH. Lil B and the pack got more urban youths to look at the shoes too. As a vans wearer since 94 it's wild to see how much has changed. The puffy ones we all wore in the mid 90s NEVER really get reissued again yet the ones NONE of us bought but NOW love (authentic, old skool, half cab, slip on) are all they beat us over the head with. It's like Jordan Brand and OG high they used to be mids in the early 2000s and the og high never really even saw light after the 80s. Odd how hype changes how a company moves. Hell ferrari has no ads due to a reputation they have built. But I'm here for it.
