I was 9 y/o when i had my hand plastered after a fracture; and when it was time to remove it, a medical staff approached me with this saw and i bawled my eyes out. He proceeded to comfort me by running the saw against his palm to show me it doesnt make you bleed and it doesnt hurt. I stopped crying and cautiously watched how the saw went through the plaster, but only "tickled" my skin. I remember being so fascinated and wondered how it was possible. Now i have the answer!

For those who dont know: a man was riding a bike down a forest while recording it to post to his youtube channel, during the video he kept hearing voices in the bushes but brushed it off as nothing, he posted the video when he got home, a few hours after the video was posted a viewer slowed it down and saw a supposed "person hiding in the bushes" the video got lots of views so then he went back into the forest, as you can see in this clip, however about 10 minutes into recording he simply stopped recording, this left his viewers confused, however, the police found his body in a bush, it was brutally disfigured and mashed up. I'll add on a bit more of what happend at 100 likes. Ok here it is: while the police were investigating the body they realized that it was not the same body, thanks to some characteristics, the body had actually belonged to someone else, however the mans viewers had got suddenly got a notification on thier phone, he had posted a video much to thier shock, the thumbnail was black and the title was "HELP" the video was the man barely being able to breathe asking for help, The viewers alerted the police, who immediately send 2 teams to investigate the forest, while investigating they had found a bike next to a campfire, much to thier horror a body was being cooked on it... Part 3 at 200 likes.... 500 likes? Fine, Heres 2 more parts........ The body was was identical to the mans, clothes and everything, The police decided this was the mans and ended the case, much to the disappointment of thier viewers, however one viewer had still lots of questions, and was unpleased with the polices work, so he took it to himself to go to the forest and find out what was truly happening, the man set up a backpack, bike, and go pro, to record some footage of what hallend while he was there, the viewer set off into the forest not knowing what horrrors would await him deep inside the forest. he said goodbye to his dog and ventured off. Heres part 4 since my original comment got overliked...... As the viewer was in the forest he heard lots of voices, similar to the man, but he stayed calm, the viewer was about 20 minutes into his forest exploration journey, when he heard a scream for help, far away from the distance, he immediately got there as soon as he could, there was nothing, absolutely nothing, he was now scared knowing there was something else in this forest that wasnt the man, but he still contiuned his journey, he kept getting getting dizzy and nauseous, but he kept going, sooner or later, he heard a branch snap behind him, and suddenly froze, looked back, and saw a supposed "white figure, with a red covered mouth", he got away as soon as possible, sheeking shelter, behind the many trees...... Part 5 at 600 likes...... Here it is, thanks for the support, im sure you wont thank me back........ While the viewer was hiding behind the trees, he pulled out his camera and took a picture of the creature, however he had forgot to turn off’the flash, and it immediately alerted the creature towards him, without any hesitation, he jumped onto his bike and quicky drove away, not looking back once, while not looking back once, the viewer was absolutely terrified of the picture he had took, the creature was tall, lanky, somewhat skinny and humanoid, it had obviously been the cause of all the deaths in the forest, he still believed the man was alive however, so as he promised to himself he would find the man, he kept getting nauseous again and hearing voices, he kept going deeper into the forest, until he saw something, a bike? A go pro? He immediately got of his bike to investigate, he pulled out his go pro? And started recording explaining the whole situation, However after finishing recording, he was adding the sound to the video when he realized, in the backround of the video there was the creature looking at him, he turned around got on his bike, and as quickly as possible got out of the forest..... If you want part 6 just ask in the replies.......EDIT: i know i asked you to ask in the replies, but i did not expect this much, NOW, please stop asking for part 6 i WILL eventually add it. Here it is........... While the viewer was trying to find his way out of the forest, the creature was chasing him, the viewer was absolutely terrified and at this rate just wanted to get out of the forest, he was stuck in the forest, he eventually escaped the creature, once again sheltering under all the trees, but was still stuck in the forest, however, a few minutes later, he heard the man's scream for help, the viewer quickly got on his bike to get to the man, this time he knew it was him as the "creature" was miles away, he got on his bike, took a deep breath, and drove off to where he heard the scream, however, right before he was about to get to the man, something was off.........

Faith in science is crucial because it represents a trust in the scientific method and the pursuit of knowledge based on evidence and reason. Faith in science involves acknowledging its potential to improve human understanding, address societal challenges, and promote progress while also recognizing the responsibility to use scientific knowledge ethically and responsibly. Furthermore, science isn't solely about progress; it's also about understanding the world around us and making informed decisions based on evidence. Then keep in mind...an oscillating saw can still fuck you up and remove things like fingers and can still cut the shit outta you. Its just less likely to happen compared to most saws. Ive been doing construction for 35 years.... trust me when i say that ive seen some pretty bad injuries with an oscillating saw. Doctors will tell you not to move when they cut the casts off to remove them. Ive been in 3 casts in my 53 years of life....they wouldnt tell you dont move if it was risk free. Oh yeah... btw it doesnt matter what kind of saw is being used both medically or for construction... my advice is just dont be stupid with any saws no matter if they say they cant hurt you or not.

Precisely. The Oscillating tool works the same way. It vibrates at a rapid pace and is able to cut wood, metal, and etc. but won’t your skin. EDIT: I want to clarify myself since many people are seeing this comment. The oscillating tool will not cut your hands like a sawzall would for example. It won’t cut your hands unless you intentionally go out of your way to cut it or it comes into close contact with a part of your body where there is only bone under your skin and not much fat or muscle for the “blade” to hold on to - example: Elbow. With me saying oscillating tool won’t cut you, I am not endorsing people intentionally attempting to cut themselves, in fact, don’t do that- that’s stupid. The back and forth motion of the oscillating tool covers a very little distance. In contrast, Sawzall for example moves the blade a great distance in each direction and it has much sharper blades, so it WILL cut your skin without a shadow of doubt. Again, cutting the skin is very unlikely with the oscillating tool because the skin will follow the motion and grab onto the “blade”, like the video shows. Keep in mind- any tool can be hazardous if misproperly handled.
@sixgunantoine7359

Because of the soft and stretchy nature of our skin tissue. The short oscillating movements are not enough to cut through the skin. The blade has a small amount of grip to the skin, but is just actually moving the skin part it touches a lil bit back and forward, so there is no cutting. Did I get it right?
@@Primetime65 I own an Oscillating tool. I have tried it few times. Instead of cutting your finger, it vibrates it if you press your finger hard enough against it. It does that because your skin will have a tight hold on at the tip of the tool.

Ok, it is an oscillating saw and has little chance to lacerate the skin. But the technique is not to drag the saw through the cast, this will cause skin abrasions. Instead its an up and down motion while gradually moving along the cast

I don't know when this saw came into existence. I fractured my left arm when I was in 8th grade, the nurse used saw (spinning not vibrating) to cut the plaster out, it sliced my skin underneath. I complained about pain during the process, but she said it's normal and I complied. when plaster was removed, I saw a deep long wound, with blood oozing out of it. Im 28 now and the scar still remains.

I had a bad ankle fracture.. the hospital crew called out their main cast guy cause they didnt even dare to take it off the first few times... then they needed to remove some metal bits in later operations.. they were like we only need to make a few small holes to get the metal bits out.. needed to make a whole 5 inch cut to find them in the end.. they opened that cut 3 times before it was all done.. had a cast for 8 months and could walk again after like 1 year... and another half year of recovery training.. stay safe!

Nope, it actually cut me. Sometimes the skin is too dehydrated due to the cast being on for a long time and it gets cut. I had a cast on my leg and when they cut it off I was screaming that they were cutting into my leg. The doctor didn't believe me, but when he finished taking off the cast I had a bleeding cut almost as long as the cast itself.
