ur narrative is extremely obvious. whilst i wouldnt deny your claims, women arent ruining the spotlight for other victims. its men who choose not to believe most women. thats not the fault of other women who may have "lied" (i take that with a pinch of salt considering the legal justice system and the psychological effects of being SAd - which can cause you to forget entirely) , its the fault of our patriarchal society that will do anything but believe women. the over emphasis on "false rape claims" which are in reality extremely rare- shift the narrative to the victims rather than the perpetrators- who are mostly men.

Thank you for creating an awareness about this. I really hope these poor men will heal. Ten years ago, my brother wanted to divorce his wife. She is a master manipulator and convinced my niece, at the age of 12 to say that my brother molested her. It didn't make it to court and she got her way. We all sided with her because she's a woman. For years we didn't talk to our brother like before until my niece turned 16 and convinced us to. She said that at 16, she confronted her mom about it, and she told her that the reason she asked her to lie was because she thought a divorce would have been too traumatic for her and leave childhood scars. Now, make that make sense please. And yes, we did confront him but she made my niece look sad by telling her that daddy wants to break the family apart. He also appeared nervous which makes sense due to embarassment and shock, but it didn't compute at the time. She also showed texts that she sent from his phone to my niece while he was sleeping. I’m so sorry for you and your family. I had an experience of false accusations being said about my Daddy who spiteful women accused of abusing me, as I got older I asked questions and luckily put this right but it’s made me very cautious of mostly women and their shade of spite that can be triggered by all sorts of things but mostly it’s when they feel badly done too, by a man or men and so they want to cause pain and damage to them or him and that can cause problems to more innocent parties close to them. So you can’t punish someone without creating a problem for innocents too. We all need to choose to act with love no matter what the choice of others, change starts with us. Myself and you and others. Let’s choose to act with love and see if we can spread a love remedy as it’s so important and not spread dis - ease of hate and spite and revenge and if you and I can do it, it’ll give us faith that it’s possible xx I hope your alright and I hope your family are now in a place where they feel only love 😊

Thank you for sharing this. Stories like this make me SO angry. As a survivor of SA when I was 10 years old,I live with the PTSD, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and binge eating disorder that this trauma gave me, Yet people like Ellie make up these stories and can destroy lives of innocent people, and like you said, make real survivors not want to come forward because people will think they are faking it. If she was SA when she was younger, then im sorry for her. Her mind obviously could not cope and into adult hood, this is what happened because of that but 8 years is not enough for the trauma she has caused for others and it certainly is not an excuse for it eiher. I have the above 4 mental disorders however I have not made up accusations. That is a whole new level of sociopathic disorder and she needs to be sectioned when released from prison as she will just do this again when she is released.

@Long John Thilver you dont understand what survivor means. You think of literally physically living through something. Usually, it means more mentally living through something. You physically aren't dead, but your mind is so jacked up that you really aren't living. The word survivor is undèstood by all who are. They totally understand. It's good to know you aren't a survivor. Really, it makes me happy. It means you've never been through something that broke you.

@Aimiee D Sweetheart, you bared your soul to reach out and explain what you went through to help another human being only to be shot down by a 'person' who was so bitter about their own life that they felt the need to call you out as a liar. That 'person' has deep issues that need to be dealt with in order for them to move forward in life. You, on the other hand, are healing, maybe slowly, but you are. Same. Someone I knew told a woman he was seeing that he thought it was best they break up.. she wooed him back for breakup sex, then IMMEDIATELY went the cops and cried 'rape', had a kit taken and everything. Like, she had it planned and she made sure that all her text messages during that day could be construed as someone who wasn't eager in hindsight. He did time, before her best friend came fwd saying how she'd confessed to her that she made the whole thing up cos she knew everyone would believe her. It took ages after that for him to be released and she NEVER saw any consequences for any of it.

Absolutely. The punishment for a fabricated false accusation should equal (or exceed) the sentence that the crime - had it been true - would have carried. There should also be a compensation award from her current and future earnings until restitution is paid to replace what the victims of her lies lost. This makes things much harder for genuine victims too.

For her to hurt herself and then play victim as if she were abused makes a mockery of real abuse and is like a slap in the face to all victims. This story is so important to tell. Thank you so much. we, as a society have to really try to curb “knee jerk reactions” and remember innocent till proven guilty. As a person who has been falsely accused,I know how much faster a lie travels, and how slow slowly the truth is accepted after a lie has been believed. No one likes to feel foolish. this feels so so similar to Sherri Papini's story... I've known other people who fake trauma or who lie constantly with no real reason to. I'm fascinated by it, whether it's caused by repressed trauma, a need to be seen, or visions of grandeur. It's almost as if she's suffering from Factitious Disorder but instead of illness, she uses trauma, assault and other forms of self-endangerment. It's really sad she won't admit that these are fabrications, and that she won't seek help. Those poor people she's destroyed deserve honesty. They deserve much more than they get.

I don't think people understand the weight of a false accusation, and that it causes ptsd, social anxiety, and often hopelessness as well as insanity. When you are being accused of something you know you haven't don't yet no matter what you say the entire weight of the public continues to gaslight you; it's horrific. What could these men have said that people would believe when a young girl implicated them? This is the one thing I hate about social media, people have lost all abilities to critically think.
