One of the things that draws my to your videos is the thumbnail. It just looks so cozy. And what makes me watch the entire video till the end is the background music and your voiceover (your voice is so relaxing!!). So learning how to make those kind of videos.....a dream come true, as I have always been drawn to this part the most when someone tells the basic of videos. #plantmas2021

I would be interested in seeing you compare these things (this and the other videos in this series) from how you do them now vs. how you did them 5/ 10 years ago. Because while this is really interesting and seems VERY professional (which makes sense, it is you job) it also feels a bit insane as something for me as a SUPER small creator to be reaching toward. So id be interested in seeing you reflect on your journey, which upgrades/changes you made at which points in your journey, and if you wish you'd done any of them sooner/later, if you tried things that DIDN't work, etc.

I’m curious about the time it takes for editing and production for each video. I know a lot of work goes into each one. What is that like for each video and your weekly workload?
@PlantBasedBride
2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the video! Usually at least an hour of prep and an hour of filming (but can be much more for more involved videos - I once had 15 hours of footage for a monthly set up!) The editing process is longer for longer videos, of course, but is usually several hours at minimum (I don't think I've ever timed myself so I don't have any specifics). I often spend two full work days editing a video from beginning to end. My typical work week is Monday to Saturday ~10 hours a day (right now during plantmas it's 7 days a week and 12 hours a day). I hope that answers your question!

quick question: what specific things do you do in davinci to fix background noise in a voiceover without ruining the audio quality? i’m constantly struggling with this haha
@PlantBasedBride

It really depends on how much background noise there is. If there’s a lot then there’s only so much you could do to reduce the noise while not degrading the quality of your voice too much.
