Nonetheless, they both got infected n both have passed. My uncle used to date one woman after another. He got infected and wasn't taking it easy emotionally n mentally. He died. Theres a physiological reason why we miss the red flags with people we love. It's not that people don't always see them, sometimes they notice the little bits but when you love somebody you want to believe they want the best for you. That's the only reason why. Even family of murders find it hard sometimes to initially believe somebody they think they know so well would ever be capable of something like that.

For me I think you think someone is NOT CAPABLE of doing you like that because you know that wena you'll NEVER do such to them.....JUST Because you'll never cheat on your partner or do them dirty doesn't mean they'll never do that to you but what can we say LOVE blinds us for a certain period of time but once things start repeating themselves make note of each event, right it down in your mind and tell yourself to stop running away from the truth.

ey , some leave , some stays depends on the situation , but i think what made u leave is because you had enough money to start over , you were financially stable and you knew that u will move to a fancy apartment and have enough money to buy comfort food . and wine , others they dont know where they will go or how they are going to survive without if they leave their husbands , so my point is being financially independent made it easy for u , others shame they are bekezeling for the sake of survival not bcz they still love their spouses , so ladies let work hard , push so that when shit happens we will know our next move will be us not going to poverty or backroom with rats...but it will b an upgrade to a fancy apartment or house , good luck Owami , u seem happy

I agree with you my sister...however, sometimes its deeper than a woman's independence and having their own income. I know of close women in my life who still run after a man regardless of his cheating, manipulative skills and lies in the name of 'societal status' perceived as a success when you're married. Others even go to an extreme and say "he can cheat with whoever he wants but at the end he comes back to me and I'm the one who has his last name". Sometimes we lack self love, setting boundaries and the absence of a father does contribute at times...income and independence does not always make us as independent as we think of we haven't resolved profound issues and insecurities from childhood and previous experiences.

I was raised by a divorced mom, she left my dad because he cheated even had two children with other two different women whilst they were married. She always used to say to me never love a man more than you love yourself. Because us women we are socialised to give and give, we give up our families, friends, career, body, time, energy, sacrificing who you are for them and they are socialised to be selfish so they just take and take and when they are tired of you they just move on to another woman, like the relationship meant nothing and that hurts like crazy. Am not saying lets hate men, some of them are really amazing but put yourself first. If he cheats the first time he will do it again so you are better off just leaving especially if you are young. You made the right choice Owamie! You glowing girl.

@@modikiramaisa4619 yey there was none. I moved to a whole different continent to be with this person, lockdown happened and I couldn’t do anything. I was stuck with him. My depression is from being all alone in a foreign country with no family and friends for support. COVID, tryna figure out how I could put myself in such a situation. How I feel like such a failure. I came here to study but the only thing I obtained is heart break. I’ve been independent all my life and now I feel like my life is on this guys hands coz obviously this is his territory. Ngaske ndife. I’m on medication wethu and I’ll get through it. PS: I over shared.

I've been beaten by mjolo a lot 🙉 and when I saw you guys loving each other it somehow brought me hope. But when you came with that video of divorce yoooh I realized that love is really what needs to be nurtured by both parties if not then let go before it gets sour. I'm so proud that in all you chose You, that's so important.
