Meditate Meditate Meditate!!!
Hi Guys!
If you are going to start manifesting stuff make sure it's exactly what you want and that it is a feeling not a material item because while a material item may bring you temporary happiness it will quickly fade.
Whether you have mental illness or not you should be meditating it helps slow life down and really helps with anger and relationships. When your mind is going fast you don't have time to react to things the way you want to.
It will make you feel good if you sit with your thoughts and quickly in your brain tell yourself over and over again how awesome you are. Think about it. All those negative things we tell ourselves and how they affect us. What if we flipped it and said only nice things about ourselves we would feel good just as the bad stuff makes us feel bad. Gaining control of your thoughts is a big part of mental illness recovery.
They call it cognitive behavioral therapy and it's recognizing a thought as just that a thought. The thought brings an emotion with it.
So sit there with your eyes closed and go down the list of all the things you think you are or want to feel.
A- I am amazing, articulate
B-I am brilliant, brave
C- I am caring, cooperative
D- I am determined
E- I am empathic, energetic
F- I am friendly, fantastic
G- I am great, giving, gorgeous
H- I am helpful, happy
I- I am independent, important, incitfull
J- I am joyous, joyfull,
K- I am kind
L- I am loving, light hearted
M- I am magnificant, meticulous
N- I am noble
O- I am optimistic
P- Proud of who I am
Q- I am quiet when I need to be
R- I am radient, relaxed, resourceful
S- I am self relient, selfless
T- trustworthly, terrific, talented
U- understanding, unifying
V- Valient, visionary, victorious
W- warm hearted, well spoken
X- and ex complainer, xenial (reflecting a warm relationship)
Y- youthful, young at heart
Z- zippy, zappy, zestful
Make a list or pretend the above list is yours. The world is beyond what we can imagine but telling yourself things about yourself and manifesting faking it until you make it applies to happiness too. AND I PROMISE IT WORKS!!! IT just takes some practice.
When I was in jail after my last psychotic episode. I made a list of everything I wanted to get when I got out and a few years later I got everything on that list even stuff I had completely forgotten about.
I strongly believe that what we put out in the universe comes back to us we just have to be patient and believe while we may not have control over the outside world we can learn how to control our thoughts and make them make us happy.
