Friday, Feb 10th was Day one of my Fluent in 3 Months Korean project, and as those of you who follow me know, I have a very strict "Speak from day one" policy. So, it's time to demonstrate that with a video showcasing my Day One, including my very first ever conversation!
Follow me on Instagram for more granular updates on my story, as well as regular live summary and Q&A vidoes:

My teacher preferred not to be recorded, so you can only hear my side of the conversation, but I put in key things she said with a synthesized voice so you can get the gist of how the entire conversation was going. I'll make sure I confirm ahead of time for future videos with someone who is fine to be on KZitem!
I know that using Google Translate as heavily as I was, is hardly the basis to move forward with a fluency project, but the point was more to avoid English and to get initial momentum having SOME form of a conversation, and for that, this strategy worked well! You'll see in future conversations that I definitely am going to be way more self reliant.
If you'd like to learn alongside me these next 3 months, for your own project, you can aim to have your first 15 minute conversation by the end of your 3 months (with way less of a time-commitment than I'm making for this monster project of mine!), so just go to www.fluentin3months.com/bc for more info on our "Bootcamp" coaching and community programme!
