🤣. You can practice it anywhere…
The way your body moves when you’re pretending to canter is the same way it’s going to move when you’re on a horse.
It also helps explain cantering leads.
When you’re practicing on the ground you’ll find it much easier to canter with your inside leg (of the circle) leading (going forward the furthest).
Have a try changing direction without changing your leg order and you’ll feel it’s a lot less comfortable to do.
But make sure you practice the correct one the most! Then you’ll have the muscle memory all set for when you’re on the horse 🤗, and have so many other things to be thinking about!
