I'm taking part in the Paris Marathon in April and I've just reached the halfway point for my training.
I am eight weeks into a sixteen week plan using the app RUNNA.
The last eight weeks have seen me run exactly 400km, more than I have ever run before in such a short space of time.
I've stuck to four runs each week, which include an easy run, a tempo session, an interval session and a long run.
The last four weeks have probably seen more growth in my running journey than at any other point of my 10+ years as a runner.
It remains incredibly challenging, but most runs I do, slightly moves the needle of belief closer to what the RUNNA app tells me I can achieve.
But not every run goes according to plan, and in the video I describe a few of the more challenging moments in my training where my belief starts to waver.
The mentality I follow of 'Just Keep Turning Up' really helps me take each run as it comes and the growth I have seen in my confidence and my performance shows there really is something in being consistent and purposeful with each run.
In this video I review my progress across the second month. I'll also share what I think about the RUNNA app generally and its integration with the Garmin ecosystem, mainly through the Forerunner 965 watch.
