I’m an Eagles fan and I love Skip. Just as I believe every sport needs its bad guy I think the way Skip used this concept on TV was almost revolutionary. For those who have watched Skip long enough, he has always been really good when it comes to the deep topics (non-sports related). That made me realize he was mainly just playing a bad guy. Sure, the Damar Hamlin thing was a little out of line, at least the timing of it, but he had a point & didn’t mean any harm by it. Plus, a lot of the people who killed him over that, are the same ones who constantly ridiculed any type of Hamlin coverage after, which proves they only used it as an opportunity to attack Skip, so at the end of the day.. he’s probably a better human than most of his haters. I’ll always respect what he brought to sports media & his story will be told for generations. We’ll miss him when he retires

Another interesting fact about Skip is his brother Rick Bayless is one of the best chefs in the United States, owning many restaurants around the Chicago area. He specializes in Mexican food and it is delicious!
