Oh how I needed this video...! I made a quilt block in the shape of a diamond and wondered how on earth I would incorporate it into a quilt without having to applique it onto the new colour. You have just given the answer and I am now excited to try binding it before it goes on the background.

Thanks! I’ll try this. It’s frustrating to do corners and binding. I like the idea of using the pins.

Thank you for this video, great tips for binding angles! I'm doing placemats which I like to use the backing and self bind so that it's faster, do you have a tutorial on how to do self binding with similar angles? I can't seem to figure out how to fold it over to the front to stitch on. Thank you!

I have learned so much from your videos and I LOVE your channel . . but you lost me at the end here. Right before 7:00 minutes . . . you say "let me get this hand sew on and those corners turned . ." but you don't' show it. I have no idea how you fastened the back , or if there was additional manipulation needed on the corners on the other side. I'm not complaining , I think you are FAB and the lack is mine, but if you have another video you could point to that shows the rest, I'd love to know the link. thanks!
