Error at 5:01 Leap is a summoner spell which is a neutral school for enchanters, so it is not cast at 10 but at 12. Also at 5:24 Elemental bolt is a elementalist spell, which is aligned for enchanters, so cast at 14

I realized a couple months ago I had those aligned/neutral schools swapped. I probably should have made a comment at that time, but didn't. Thanks for catching it!👍

Good breakdown. There is a certain charm to having your warband be mostly built by your wizard, I'll have to try it out (as soon as I a) find some more constructs to build and paint, and b) Frostgrave picks up at the club again)

I think it will definitely be fun to have a customized Warband like this. I hope you can find some people to play Frostgrave with soon!

I've been wondering how to integrate these rules into Stargrave. The Stargrave robot rules feel a bit more barebones compared to Frostgrave's constructs. There are parts that couldn't be replicated one to one, or at least will take more retheming than being used out of the box, but otherwise I think they could be jammed into the sci-fi setting. They'd give players more opportunities for having having larger warband members (I don't think there's any rules in Stargrave for say Ogre sized soldiers), and plenty of choices for customization (particularly if two upgrades are allowed instead of one). Though I'm not sure if this supplement allows for ranged weapons - even if they aren't strictly necessary in Stargrave. Regardless, thanks, as ever for your content. :D

It would be interesting to try to integrate some of the rules over to Stargrave - definitely a fun idea! The lack of focus on ranged combat could definitely be a problem. That's a good point that Stargrave doesn't have any "Large" allies that can join a Crew.

Thanks brother! I’m glad that Constructs got a makeover to open up some cool possibilities.

A really construct heavy warband might wind up with a bit more money to spend on all those expensive mods just by virtue of having fewer organic soldiers to consider giving magic items to, making it easier to bring yourself to sell them off. I doubt it works out to a net gain, but it might ameliorate your upgrade costs a bit.

It seems like I never have enough money in 2E to go shopping for Magic Items. But the Constructs would definitely save on Soldier hiring which I didn't mention. It would be interesting to see how they do financially compared with a usual Warband.

@@bricksblocksgaming8017 Most of my items are loot finds normally, but you hit enough of them that are actually useful that giving them to soldiers really eats into the amount you earn by selling them. With constructs you lose (or at least reduce) that temptation but you're exchanging it with a desire for upgrades. Kind of hard to say which will leave you farther ahead financially in the end, but having to hire fewer replacement soldiers (assuming you can keep up with replacement/reanimated constructs) is an edge too. Have to do some playtesting to be sure, but I doubt the designer overlooked any major imbalance. Of course, one of the other drawbacks is sinking most of your early advancements into improving out-of-game spells. That makes it harder to cast in-game - so fewer XP and less direct impact on the tabletop in exchange for unwoundable, customizable construct soldiers.

Hey you often have these blue and white hills in your video and larger green and brown ones where did you get those never seen them before.

They're Mega Bloks. The green and brown ones are from their Dragons line and the ice looking ones are from the Dragons Fire & Ice series. Some of those I bought 20 years ago, but most of my Mega Bloks (the majority of my Frostgrave terrain) I found in a lucky purchase off Craigslist right before launching the channel.

If you go with a Construct Wizard, he/her name must be Davros.
