thanks for these workout tips dude, I was starting to workout using dumbbell and typically at home workout. as a newbie, leg days are hell, I took stairs and legs are shaky. I followed the 48 hour rule, and it honestly work pretty well. I'm tired but it's not exhausted, I feel like I'm building strength instead of pain. and when I use said muscle group after 48 hours they were ready to go and healthy. I cant do a full push-ups consistently so when I'm fatigued, I reduce the weight by doing half/knee pushups. it took awhile to reduce my ego, but now I'd rather build strength optimally rather than forcing a full pushups and get pained for 4 days

I workout at home using dumbbells too. I use Powerblocks mainly. Leg days are always painful so I feel you on that. Keep up the grind!

he did, it is by letting muscle group rest for at least 48 hours. say you train upper body on monday, dont do arms and shoulders workout on tuesday, but you can do it again on wednesday. it reduces fatigue as the guy has mentioned

It’s weird, specially because the head/neck has essentially no involvement in the exercises. 1 - Are holding your breath throughout the set, because you shouldn’t. 2-Try to go lighter. 3-Also check your body pressure in general. If it persists I would seek a doctor. Best of luck

check blood pressure, high blood pressure is dangerous for gym goers especially if they go for heavy load as habit. when doing leg press select weight that enable you to still focus the stress on your leg and breathing, high load will unconsciously make you exert everything in your power, raising blood pressure and straining your neck. if you felt sharp pain on head when the leg is pressing down then it had something to do with breathing or blood pressure or weight
