This is how to calculate same store sales , a.k.a comps or like for like growth in excel. It is useful for creating sales reports that show organic growth, as well as like for like growth.
The basic formula is: LFL = (TY - LY )/LY x 100
However, some stores need to be excluded, because they have not been trading on a like for like basis, and this is what we explain in the video.
