Dang Josh! You are holding the camera, videotaping at night and seems at some point that you need a 3rd helping hand. Yet in little more than 5 minutes you explanation was so simple. I clicked on some videos from some ''professional'' channels. Some videos even clocked over 10 minutes long. They talked a lot yet they didn't say anything. Kudos man, thanks so much for your time. It helped greatly with my Capacitor. Followed your instructions and worked like a charm.

Thanks for the tip. I watched 2 other videos prior to this one and still wasnt really sure how to charge my cap. I think I got it now. Just a quick question if you have a chance please reply. I am installing a cerwin vega stroker 12 inch sub its dual 2ohm coils. I'm running an old school Rockford Fosgate power 500.1bd amplifier for the sub. I have a Clarion pro audio 100x4 four channel amplifier for my mids and highs. I'm using an old hifonics cygnus 10 band equalizer for signal control. It has 20 db boost on all 10 bands and 20db on the gain. Do you think this will make a good sounding system? If not then what peices should I replace and what do u recommend using? Sorry for writing a book here lol. Thanks for helping

You need to run the same wire from front to back, so if your runing 4g amp wire it needs to be 4g from the car battery to the cap an from the cap to the amp, an i have another video on how to hook it up just go watch it

@joshualstacy69

you can mount it any way u want as long as its not upside down. i made this video long time ago i would recommend getting a batcap instead there 100X better than a cap

@joshualstacy69

Idk on that part, ive never Experience that b4, as long as the cap is taking a charge i can imagin it is good, the only reason for chargeing a cap b4 you put in the fuse is so that when you put in the fuse it dont draw to much power at once an pop the fuse, if you keep having this problem i would Suggest taking it to a car audio dealer an have them look at it

+matt if unhooking it period I would discharge it then recharge it when u hook it back up.. my word of advice would be spend the lil extra money an get u a actual car audio battery. Like a batcap 2000 or a xspower battery

BASSLIF3 thanks for the answer I appreciate it and I was planning on it when I get my next amp but I got this same cap in the video free and it doesn't drop under 12.5 so I figured keep it. For that smaller amp. I'm running a lot off a 91 single cab Silverado im actually surprised the lights don't dim. 2000 watt amp 400 watt amp LED light bar with flood and spot another one in the bed a 7 inch screen and DVD head unit and that cap and its a champ I'll turn all of it on and my light stay bright and led high beams. I just read these circuit breakers are awesome so I had to get one.

the light tester is like 3 to 5 bucks at the hardware place, an the reason for charging the cap first is so that when you go to put your fuse in on the front by the battery you wont shock your self or blow a fuse or charge the cap to fast, if the cap charges to fast it can mess it up, an no the led lights an the voltage matter wont drain your battery unless it very very weak, hope this helped if not ill do another video for you explaining more into details
