If your'e looking for looking for faster renders: - Memory on your graphics card allows you to load more high quality textures on your scene, in my opinion at least 8GB is the minimum you should be looking for. - For the processor, going for more cores is better then looking at the frequency, for single thread programs like Photoshop frequency is the way to go, for 3D it's more about the cores. About the ram, it's more about a fluid way to work. It won't massively impact your render times (it's more about your graphics card and processors capability) but be aware if you have less then 16GB of ram it can become a bottleneck. Sorry for any mistakes on what I wrote, from Switzerland with love 🙏🏼🤝🏼

I’ve been using Enscape for all around renders and quick sharing of panorama galleries and then D5 for exteriors. Been very very happy with both and workflow is fast. RTX 3070. Both companies are delivering features very quickly.

@@TheRenderingEssentials I’ve found the painting of landscaping objects in D5 to be faster and more advanced than Enscape’s asset placement or the user of Skattr in Sketchup. I also think the quality of exterior objects in D5 is better than Enscape’s at the moment. I also do all my modeling in Chief Architect so Sketchup is just a middleman and I honestly prefer the working directly in a renderer (minimal work within Sketchup itself). If D5 had hosted panorama galleries I’d consider just using D5.

@@richardrogersdesigns2683 D5 exterior assets and control over placement of assets is excellent. Basically the speed at which I can populate an exterior scene with D5 is my main driver along with the quality of the exterior assets.

I use enscape and would be considered an intermediate level but I have started to research maps and use materialise and one thing I notice with enscape is that you cant use more than one height map at a time, so you have to choose either bump, normal or displacement whereas I believe other renderers you can layer them to get even better quality textures.
@waleedmahe5351
Жыл бұрын
vray is the best because it provides realistic images with the best quality, you can control the material settings better and wider options in the settings and the size of the program is small and does not exceed 1GB and does not need high operating requirements

I prepared D5 render, I think is the best for architecture and for the future comes. Twinmotion reflection is not perfect, vray and enscape is GPU hungry, and graphics now a days are so expensive, I prepare corona render over vray bcoz of CPU friendly. Lastly I prepare Twinmotion over Lumion becoz of the speed in rendering animation and the resolution size and safeframe render

@@TheRenderingEssentials what would you generally say is the best for exterior renders (I am a landscape designer) - with a wide range of render ready plants. I use a Mac, although am considering whether to get a PC just for doing renders. I currently use Twinmotion, but I find the plant library, even with the addition of Quixel, far too limited
@TheRenderingEssentials

@@richardrogersdesigns2683 I'd say at the moment Lumion has the largest plant library by a fair amount, and in my opinion still the best suite of plant placement tools. Lumion and Enscape probably have deeper tree/plant libraries than Twinmotion (at least at the moment). I'm not sure how deep the D5 render plant/tree library is yet, but some people are really liking that one as well - it has some placement tools that are similar to Lumions that I like.

Hi, as I am using Fusion 360 I was quite happy with the standard render results at the beginning, but moving further on I am looking for a render software for Jewelery. It would be a Studio environment with a bit of motions. This is what I need, sounds easy but ... I am looking for a render software that renders out the Jewelery in printable format, so I can use the rendering for advertisement to sent the render file to print magazine for an advertisement ect. Hope you get the meaning. I see a lot of excellent renderings out there, but when it comes to old fashion printing, the results are more than disappointing. At the moment I always have to use Affinity Photo to "pimp" up the renderings from Fusion 360 to get a reasonable result. So I try Keyshot now in a trail version, but 2 weeks are just too short to figure out, if this will work out.

I noticed the exact same even with the latest rtx Alienware laptops. With advanced cooling. The fans absorb too much dust and there's no easy way to clean it up. So they start getting even hotter. Can't believe even the most expensive and recommended companies are almost like a scam. They want them to fail asap.
