Ginataan
Ingredients:
Sweet potato
Banana (saging na saba)
Coconut milk
Glutinous rice flour for bilo-bilo
Cooked tapioca (sago)
Sugar (add/less depends on the sweetness you want)
Optional Ingredient:
Violet food color to give it a nice color.
Procedure:
-For the 1st extract add 1 cup of hot water to the grated coconut. Squeeze it using your hand. Set aside.
-For the 2nd extract: Repeat the 1st step and set aside.
-For the glutinous rice ball (bilo-bilo). Add a little bit of water to the glutinous rice flour and form it like a small round ball.
-In a pot, put the 2nd extract of coconut milk. Turn the heat on and add the sweet potato.
-When its already boiling add glutinous rice ball one by one to prevent from sticking with each other.
-Add the 1st extract of coconut milk. Mix well.
-Add banana or saging na saba. Mix
-Add sugar (add/less depends on the sweetness you want). Mix
-Add cooked tapioca (sago). Mix well.
Optional Ingredient:
Violet food color to give it a nice color.
