Do you have a Unibody MacBook Pro? Would you like to create a bootable installer of macOS 10.12 Sierra? Do you need to reinstall macOS Sierra on your Mac?
If you said yes to any of these, then I can show you the steps to take in order to create a bootable installer of macOS 10.12 Sierra. That way you can have a backup in case you need it or you can reinstall the operating system on your Mac. Sometimes a clean slate (even on a Mac) helps to speed up the computer and make it run much quicker, smoother, and reliably.
Here is a link to purchase a very reliable and fast USB 3.0 flash drive that I would highly recommend.

If you perform the below terminal commands with 10.15 Catalina or newer, you need to run this command before performing the other terminal commands. This will change the terminal shell to bash instead of zsh. Zsh was the default terminal shell for macOS Catalina and later.
chsh -s /bin/zsh
Here are the terminal commands you need to create the macOS Sierra 10.12 Installer onto your blank USB flash drive.
sudo plutil -replace CFBundleShortVersionString -string "12.6.03" /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Info.plist
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/IT101 --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app
Let me know if you have any problems or questions and I will be glad to help.
