This video lesson shows how to create linear mesh patterns using the Ansys Fluent Meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow. The Watertight Geometry Workflow in Fluent Meshing is a guided workflow designed to quickly mesh any clean watertight geometry. The guided workflow directs a user through a step-by-step process of simple, intuitive inputs. Behind the scenes, Fluent Meshing uses built-in intelligence and automation to create a high-quality computational fluid dynamics (CFD) mesh. In this video, we will explore how to create linear mesh patterns of selected computer-aided design (CAD) objects. We will first start with the considerations that need to be kept in mind during the CAD creation phase to facilitate the implementation of linear mesh pattern operation in the watertight geometry workflow. Next, we will go into detail and discuss the various options available in the Add Linear Mesh Pattern task.
