Yes, the colors are great. A Baby blanket won't take too long, but yes for a full sized bed it would take a while.

How many chain would i need if i would like to make a decent size knee rug?

that depends on how you want it shaped. Mine was twice as long as it was wide with the chain starting at 18.

Sorry, I did not do a written pattern because of it being a 2 row repeat. You just keep going until it's a big or small as you want.

Love this pattern. Colors are beautiful. I had tried a Mosaic pattern for a blanket but it is curving in on sides. I didn't turn my work for rows of granny stitch or use an elongated fptc., would that be my problem. No other teacher will answer quest. Am subscribing to channel. Thank you . ❤ 🧶🧶🧶🧶

That is a very good possibility, I turn my work to keep my squares straight. If you notice on a regular granny square as you progress the colors/rounds start to shift a little by turning the work it keeps it straight. Also by turning and having that row/round without the elongated fptc there is not as much pull on the work. If you don't turn and keep working on the same side you will have more of the raised mosaic stitch and some people prefer that look. My suggestion would be try a few rounds with some scrap yarn of not turning and using the elongated fptc then try it with turning and every other round having the elongated fptc and see which works best for you. Also tension could be an issue try using a larger hook if tension is the problem, I always have to go up a hook size or two.

Your tension is probably to tight. Try a larger hook or pull up slightly on the extended triple before pulling through the first loop.
